Welcome The Bold and Beautiful Thorsten Kaye [Ridge Forrester] to social media. The actor can now be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Thorsten’s had a Facebook account since September but hasn’t posted very often. He started with a profile pic on September 16 that received three likes, two loves and one comment. “Handsome as always and love your voice,” one fan wrote. Also added was a photo of the cast of B&B.

It took a little bit longer, but Thorsten’s quietly made his first Instagram post on October 27. What did Thorsten have to say on such an auspicious occasion?

He posted a video of appears to be a backlot at CBS, or maybe a construction site, with water gushing into the air. “I’m finally here,” the actor wrote. The post received 228 views and 19 comments.

All My Children wife Alicia Minshew [Kendall Hart Slater] found Thorsten on Twitter the same day. “You guys..for the love of God-look who finally joined Twitter! My Toastie! Follow his sassy self at @Iamthorstenkaye!” Alicia wrote, welcoming Thorsten into the 21st century.

Inspiring Bold and the Beautiful fans with his next Instagram post, Thorsten wrote, “You have to pass the lowest point on the way to the top… {shot with iPhone 6 in Ridgefield, CT)” with an accompanying photo of a Ferris wheel.

Just a few days ago Thorsten shared a photo of the sign outside a bar in New York City. “’…when love and light is not enough’ The greatest bar on the West @prohibitionnyc.”

The Bold and the Beautiful fans may not know Thorsten Kaye now has Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Each of his posts and tweets have received comments but not as many as you would think. So far Thorsten has less than 100 likes on Facebook and just over 200 followers on Instagram.

However, in the two weeks since joining Twitter Thorsten has garnered over 3,500 followers. More than likely when soap opera fans find out the actor finally gave in and joined Instagram, Twitter and Facebook he’ll have thousands of followers across on each.

In a recent interview with CBS Soaps in Depth, Thorsten Kaye remembered the drama of news stories “back when TV was the only game in town for breaking news.” Thorsten joked that when he’d hear the newscaster promise an exciting story on the evening news he would think, “Tell me now you jerk!”

Everything is reported in an instant these days which means you need to keep up with the times. Thorsten Kaye has finally arrived on social media. Check out his accounts and say hello.
