‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ News: Katherine Kelly Lange Honored By Cancer Support Community - Receives Founders Award For Spirit‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Katherine Kelly Lang [Brooke Forrester] was presented with the Founders Award for Spirit by the Cancer Support Community. The actress enjoyed an amazing evening in New York City at the Annual Spring Celebration on Thursday, April 14.

Dressed in a simple but stunning just above the knee black dress, Katherine took the stage to accept the much deserved award. Sharing a photo with ‘B&B’ fans, Katherine wrote, “Being presented with the Founders Award for Spirit for the work I do with @cancersupporthq! I am so honored! What a lovely evening at the Cancer Support Community Gala!”

The evening included dinner, musical performances, dancing, a silent auction and the awards presentation. A live auction was conducted for the #4Chords4Cancer guitar that was signed more than 20 top music artists.

One support group is set up especially for teens. Group Loop is available to teenagers who have been diagnosed with cancer or if they have someone they love with a cancer diagnosis.

‘Frankly Speaking About Cancer’ is a web-based radio show available every Tuesday beginning at 4:00pm ET. The talk show is hosted by CSC’s President and CEO Kim Thiboldeaux.
