‘The Bold and The Beautiful’ News: Anthony Turpel Joins B&B As New RJ Forrester

Have you been wondering if Brooke [Katherine Kelly Lang] and Ridge [Thorsten Kaye] will be in each other’s orbit more? Well, yes they will be as ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ hired Anthony Turpel as a R.J Forrester recast. First to break the casting news was Soap Opera Digest who reported that the young actor’s first episode will air on September 14.

Brooke and Ridge’s son is returning to Los Angeles and we’re sure he is bringing some trouble with him. Earlier this year the casting call went out for a teenage actor to play the role of a troubled teen, at that point it was speculated that the role of R.J was being recast. Now we can officially announce that the role previously played by Mace Coronel will be taken on by Turpel.

With the return of R.J viewers have already begun to predict upcoming episodes, assuming that he will bring his parents closer together. Brooke is currently single even though Bill [Don Diamont] is constantly pining after her and doing everything he can to win her love. Ridge is also single due to the fact that he ended his marriage with Caroline [Linsey Godfrey] so that she can be a family with Thomas [Pierson Fode] and their son Douglas. If indeed R.J is as troubled as viewers predict it could definitely cause Brooke and Ridge to reunite as he is the only child the two share.

Turpel may be a young actor and new to daytime but he has surely filled his acting credits with roles in ‘Future Shock’, ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’, ‘Henry Danger’ and ‘Life and Pieces’. So fans are you happy R.J is coming back? Are you happy that there is a possibility that Ridge and Brooke could be getting back together?
