Soap Opera Weekly Ratings September 19-23: ‘GH’ Ratings Increase – ‘DOOL’ And ‘Y&R’ Ratings Up, Not Good Week For ‘B&B’The soap opera ratings for the week of September 19 through September 23 have been reported by Soap Opera Network.The Bold and The Beautiful’ ratings dropped in both total views and women 18-49 while ‘General Hospital’ saw a ratings increase in both demographics. ‘The Young and the Restless’ ratings were up with total viewers but lost viewers in the women 18-49 demographic. ‘Days of Our Lives’ ratings saw an increase in total viewers but a loss in the ratings for women 18-49.

Days of Our Lives

‘DOOL’ ratings for the week of September 19-23 increased in total viewership. The daytime drama had 2,196,000 watching – a gain of 39,000 total viewers over the previous week. ‘Days of Our Lives’ saw a dip in the ratings with women 18-49. A total of 392,000 viewers came from this demographic. This represents a loss of 4,000 in this category.

General Hospital

‘GH’ ratings were up significantly the week of September 19 through September 23 with 2,711,000 turned in. This is a huge ratings increase for ‘General Hospital’ – up 176,000 total viewers from the previous week. The daytime drama received a nice bump in the ratings with women 18-49 – 445,000 tuned in, that’s a gain of 25,000 viewers in this demographic from the previous week.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Soap Opera Network reports that ‘B&B’ ratings were down across the board for the week of September 19-23. With 3,683,000 total viewers tuned in that represents a loss of 51,000 in that category. Women 18-49 tuned out as well – 495,000 were watching which represents a loss of 26,000 viewers in this demographic.

The Young and the Restless

‘Y&R’ ratings for September 19 through September 23 were up again for the second week in a row for total viewers with 4,789,000 watching. That represents an increase of 39,000 viewers in this category. ‘The Young and the Restless’ ratings were down with women 18-49. For the week of September 19-23 620,000 were tuned in, a loss of 13,000 in this demographic.
