Soap Opera Weekly Ratings April 25-29: ‘Y&R’ ‘B&B’ ‘GH’ Gain Viewers – ‘DOOL’ Wins Back In Women 18-49 DemographicThe soap opera weekly ratings for April 25 through April 29 show that ‘The Young and the Restless’, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and ‘General Hospital’ gained in the total viewers category. ‘Days of Our Lives’ showed a loss in that same category, but won back women viewers ages 18-49 according to Soap Opera Network.

Days of Our Lives

Soap Opera Network reports that 2,199,000 viewers were watching ‘DAYS’ between April 25 and April 29. This represents a loss of 49,000 total viewers. However, 396, 000 women ages 18-49 tuned in. This is a gain of 12,000 viewers in this demographic over the previous week.

General Hospital

The lone ABC daytime drama had 2,803,000 total viewers watching last week. This represents a gain of 18,000 viewers in this category. ‘GH’ did not fare so well in the women 18-49 demographic. 473,000 tuned in and this represents a loss of 16,000 women viewers 18-49 from the previous week.

The Bold and the Beautiful

‘B&B’ had 3,825,000 total viewers who tuned in April 25-29 Soap Opera Network reports. That’s a gain of 74,000 viewers. Not only did ‘B&B’ show an increase in total viewers, the CBS soap opera had 574,000 women viewers ages 18-49 watching last week. This represents a gain of 32,000 viewers over the previous week.

The Young and the Restless

The week of April 25-29 was a big one for ‘Y&R.’ After struggling to keep viewers the daytime drama had 4,880,00 total viewers watching. This represents a gain of 177,000 viewers. Adding to that good news is that women viewers between the ages of 18-49 came back last week with 671,000 watching. This represents an increase of 44,000 in this demographic.

Soap opera ratings for the week of April 25 through April 2915 were good for ‘The Young and the Restless,’ ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and ‘General Hospital’ in overall viewers. ‘Days of Our Lives’ enjoyed a good week with women ages 18-49 while ‘GH’ was the only soap opera to lose viewers in this demographic.
