At General Hospital, after Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) visits his unconscious mother, he comes upon the crime scene and asks Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) if it is possible that the person who killed Nurse Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) is the same person who tried to kill his mother, Dr. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson)?

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) finds her devastated nephew, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) sitting in a patient’s room in GH. He had placed the engagement ring on Sabrina’s finger; when Tracy comes in to comfort him, she realizes she has more bad news for him; that his grandmother, Monica was also a victim of General Hospital’s serial killer, and it was Sabrina who saved her life.

At the Metro Court, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) introduces Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) to Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier), Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) kidney donor. The look that Nelle gives Nina is a bit curious. It’s almost as if she knows who Nina is, is it possible they are somehow connected, other than the communication they had through the Crimson magazine ad?

With everything going on at General Hospital, we could almost forget that Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) trial has just started. His lawyer, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has brought forward new evidence that can pretty much throw out everything the PCPD and D.A. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) have obtained in this case.

It came down to the simplest detail, on the search warrant, the address was wrong. Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) swears she put the correct address on the documents, but the Judge verifies Scott’s copies with the original, and the address was definitely incorrect. Could Julian get off that easily, and what does that mean for his wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)?

General Hospital’s Alexis has needed everyone in her corner these past few weeks, not just her children and friends, but even her ex, Sonny, has confronted Julian to do the right thing. Fans know that her and Julian have a very strong love-hate relationship. Julian had attempted to kill Alexis, there is no getting past that. It doesn’t change the fact that she loved him deeply, and that love doesn’t just disappear.

Julian claims to love her and has manipulated her over and over again; using her faith in him to break the law and pin it on her. Alexis has lost pretty much everything because of Julian. She, of course, still has her daughters, but she lost the only other thing she has loved, her job as an attorney. He wouldn’t even help her plea her case to keep her license to practice. Then he framed her for murder and even attempted to kill her.

His lawyer, Scott, tells Julian that his wife is a “basket-case”, which isn’t far from the truth, but will Julian allow him to badger her to her breaking point, or will it be D.A. Hornsby who will make her break down first? Either way, this court case is not going to have a happy ending for all people involved.
