‘General Hospital’ Speculation: What’s next For GH’s Liz Webber – A New Romance?

Rebecca Herbst played that “General Hospital” (GH) character some would love to hate and some may just hate, but Rebecca Herbst brought Elizabeth Webber to a new level when she found out just who Jake Doe (Billy Miller) really was and kept his identity a secret for months. Her lies were exposed and she lost the great love of her life “Jason Morgan”. It’s clear that General Hospital is about to reunite Jason and Sam, which means Liz is going need to a new man. Unfortunately Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) is about to marry Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Lucky is nowhere on the canvas.
Recently word came about that a new doctor will soon fill the void left by Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson). The new doctor “Dr. Griffin Munro” debuts sometime in February and will be played by Matt Cohen. Cohen is indeed a handsome guy.
Could this new doctor be what Elizabeth needs? Certainly, GH could build a great friendship between Griffin and Liz and slowly build their relationship. Elizabeth needs a stable man and a stable relationship, as much as Becky Herbst and Billy Miller had great chemistry I think it’s about time GH gave Liz a new man.
Many fans crave the reunion of their “Liason” but many fans have been craving a new romance for Liz ever since their break up. Already I see twitter going ablaze with tweets that Griffin and Liz could set the GH screen on fire and some even began shipping the two who haven’t even been on screen yet.
Liz can’t rewind time and change the fact that she hid Jason’s identity from him and everyone who love him but she can surely redeem her character, and her pairing with the new doctor could drive the internet ablaze.

She needs to be with Jason for the boys also don’t put another man stick with Jason.
First of all no she do not need to be with Jason!Its nothing there never have been thats why they never done them in the beganning!The new guy looks to young for Liz,give him a chance, there are other young women on GH!Kristina,Kiki. Do not want to see Liz mess up another man!You keep saying Liz is fans love to hate, and I think fans have said this over and over,fans just hate the character to the point the ratings drop when she is on!Give the new man a chance,do not pair him with Liz!
It is obvious the writer’s don’t want a Liason pairing for how they had Liz and Nik do those despicable things and I want Liz to be like she was before a role model as a single parent and then eventually love. I think with Matt before they put him in jail they could’ve been great and maybe with this new actor coming in its possible as long as the Jasam fans stop being negative with the ratings drop when Liz is on lol.
I really like Liz but not with Jason I think the new doctor should be with Liz, Jason needs to be with Sam and their son hopefully this new doc will be the right man for Liz and she gets married and have a father for those boys
