Watkins is aware that there is an interest in him joining the dancing competition. He posted a message about it on social media. The actor is more than willing to join the reality show if the campaign is a success. Watkins was surprised that his fans wanted him to join the show. He loves how supportive the fans are about him being on the show. He was shocked by the amount of people who wanted to campaign for him to join the competition. If the show asks him to join, he will be more than willing to do it. He is terrified, but he’s willing to give it a shot.

Watkins wouldn’t be the first soap star to join the reality show. There have been a few soap stars that have done the show over the years. Two of his co-stars have already competed on the show. Kelly Monaco (Sam) and Ingo Rademacher (Jax) have been on previous seasons of the long running reality show. Kelly Monaco was on the first season of the competition. She was the first winner of the show. She also dealt with controversy when she had to do a rematch with former soap star John O’Hurley (who also appeared on General Hospital) because fans didn’t believe she should have won over O’Hurley.
