General Hospital News: 'GH' Executive Producer Frank Valentini Signs Multi-year Deal - He's Not Going Anywhere!Soap Opera Spy just recently learned that Executive Producer of General Hospital, Frank Valentini has just signed a new contract to remain with GH through a multi-year deal with ABC. His good work has earned Frank the honor to remain as Executive Producer of “General Hospital.”

Frank Valentini joined General Hospital approximately four years ago when he replaced Jill Farren Phelps. Frank Valentini has proven his work time and time again, he even won a Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Drama in 2016.

Frank Valentini first began on “One Life to Live,” which he joined in 1986 as a stage hand and even had the pleasure to work with the legenday late Agnes Nixon who just recently passed away. Just to give you a little background on his many achievements, Frank Valentini’s daytime career officially began in 1985 as a stage manager for “One Life to Live”.

Later on, he became an associate producer for OLTL in 1994 and in 1996 he was promoted to be a producer. In 2003, he moved on and became an Executive Producer for OLTL. He moved to General Hospital in 2011. Frank’s producing work with General Hospital officially began in late 2011. General Hospital scenes under his direction officially began airing on February 1st, 2012.
