‘General Hospital’ News: Bree Williamson Joins GH As Claudette

Is trouble in sight for Nathan [Ryan Paevey] and Maxie [Kirsten Storms] on ‘General Hospital’?  It sure does look that way, since Nathan’s Ex-wife Claudette is coming in the form of Bree Williamson. Upcoming ‘General Hospital’ spoilers’ tease that Claudette will pop up in Port Charles and Jamey Giddens is reporting that GH Exec Frank Valentini has hired former daytime star Bree Williamson for the part.

At this point there are no additional details to this developing story. There is no indication as to when she will make her “GH” debut or how long she will be with the show. One can only hope that this is not a recurring role. Williamson is quite talented and knows how to grab the attention of her viewers, let’s hope this is a contract role.

What will Williamson bring to the table as Claudette?  No doubt, it would be good to see Williamson’s Claudette go head to head with Storms’ Maxie for Nathan’s heart. Will Claudette want another shot at love with Nathan when she sees him again? Is there more to the story in regards to their relationship than what Nathan shared with Maxie so far? Will Maxie be the one to find Claudette?

Williamson is popular among daytime viewers – she spent many years on our TV screens as Jessica Buchanan on ‘One Life to Live’. Since departing the ABC soap opera after it was cancelled by the Network she has spent her time working steadily in primetime. She has appeared in a number of primetime series including; Chicago Fire as Beth Pridgen, Deception as Vivian Bowers, True Detective as Jennifer and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She has also had roles in a couple movies since OLTL – she played Lisa in ‘A Mother Betrayed’ and April Littleton in ‘Portrait of Love.’
