‘General Hospital’ News: ‘Bold’ Alum Ashley Jones Joins ‘GH’ Cast As Professor Parker – Kristina Corinthos’ Love Interest?

‘General Hospital’ spoilers have been teasing an upcoming scandal surrounding Kristina Corinthos and her college teacher Professor Parker. Kristina later confessed to her big sister Sam that her return to Port Charles only came about because she was expelled from Wesleyan University after she tried to bribe Professor Parker with sex to change her grades.

Since Kristina dropped that bombshell on the ABC soap opera, ‘GH’ fans have been speculating that Professor Parker was heading to Port Charles – and everyone was dying to see what hunky actor they had cast in the role. So, you can imagine everyone’s shock on Friday January 29th when Professor Parker requested a face-to-face meeting with Kristina Corinthos, and it turned out she was a WOMAN. Does this mean that Kristina Corinthos is a lesbian, or bi-sexual?
The fact that Professor Parker turned out to be a woman is shocking enough – but the actress playing her is a major soap opera alum. ‘General Hospital’ fans were thrilled to see ‘The Bold And The Beautiful‘ actress Ashley Jones arrive on the ABC soap as Professor Parker. Jones played the part of Bridget Forrester from 2004-2015. Before that she appeared on ‘The Young And The Restless’ as Megan Dennison. Somehow TPTB managed to keep this major casting a total secret. So far there is no news on how long Ashley will be sticking around Port Charles – but we can’t wait to see where this story goes!

I definitely hope its long term…
I hope it’s not true. If the show becomes overwhelmingly gay, I suppose I cannot watch it anymore.
I love Ashley Jones I can’t wait for this storyline I hope she’s on long term she’s an awesome actress I have so much respect for her!
GH always has great storylines, but Kristina and the professor is off the chain. I have loved Shari Belafonte for a very long time, but I don’t like her in this roll.
