General Hospital (GH) Weekly Spoilers July 5 – 8: Nathan Investigates Dr. Mayes’ Murder – JaSam Arrive On Cassadine Island, Meet Valentin – Claudette Shows Up In Port Charles

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8 reveal that the GH serial killer case heats up, the Cassadine Island adventure kicks off, Claudette comes to Port Charles to try and steal Nathan, and Laura wonders what Spencer is up to.  Remember the new week of GH starts on Tuesday, July 5 because of the Independence Day holiday.

As the week kicks off, we find out Dr Mayes [Matt Riedy] is dead and Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] investigates by grilling GH staff that he considers suspects in the case. Across town, Nathan’s ex-wife Claudette [Bree Williamson] shows up to Crimson.

Claudette meets Maxie Jones [Molly Burnett recast] and introduces herself as CJ. She’s there interviewing for a job at the magazine. Maxie and Claudette hit it off. Dr Obrecht [Kathleen Gati] talks to Franco [Roger Howarth] about them being suspects in the killer case.

Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] and Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] work to get Hamilton Finn [Michael Easton] out of jail and obtain more of his illegal medication that he needs to stay alive. Tracy and Hayden come to see Finn in jail and Tracy says she has good news.

Nikolas Cassadine [Nick Stabile] tells Ava Jerome [Maura West] they’re safe on the family island, but she’s creeped out. Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] follow them soon. Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] is jealous of Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig].

Sam, Jason, Nikolas and Ava get trapped on Cassadine Island and danger looms. Back in Port Charles, Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] makes a big move in her scheme to take down Julian Jerome [William deVry]. Griffin and Maxie talk about his past as a priest.

Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] hires Curtis Ashford [Donnell Turner] but he’s still got his eye on being a cop again. Alexis tries to buy time to let her plan work but Julian begins to get suspicious. Kristina Corinthos [Lexi Ainsworth] whispers the wrong name to Aaron Roland [John DeLuca]. Whoops!

Kristina wonders if she’s ready to come clean to Aaron about Parker Forsyth [Ashley Johnson] being a woman. Maxie and Nathan worry about why Claudette is in Port Charles and what’s coming. Julian makes a desperate play to avoid going down for murder.

On Cassadine Island, the foursome will meet Theo [James Patrick Stuart] but General Hospital rumors indicate that Theo may really be Valentin Cassadine. Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] may also be headed that way too after she overhears Spencer Cassadine [Nicolas Bechtel] on a suspicious call.
