‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Theresa Donovan Plots To Run Away, Final DOOL Days Near – Exit Storyline Not Jiving With Lilley’s Character

Does anyone else remember when Theresa (Jen Lilley) used to be a tough girl who was willing to do whatever it took to get what she wanted on Days of Our Lives? She was a shark who crushed anyone stupid enough to get in her way.

So who in the world is this version of Mother Theresa now playing out on our screens? The notion that she would just whine and whimper and leave her family for a Mexican drug lord who has the hots for her is beyond ridic!

Remember when Theresa wanted to get even with her arch enemy Jennifer (Melissa Reeves)? She didn’t just throw shade, she seduced her teenaged son! Nothing was beneath Theresa when it came to making herself happy.

But somewhere along the way she changed, with the love of a good man. She married her heartthrob Brady (Eric Martsolf) and together they’ve found happiness raising their son Tate.

So, now we’re supposed to believe that steely Theresa would fold like a cheap suit just because a bad guy leaves his business card in her kid’s stroller? C’mon!

Guillermo (Kurt Caceres) is Theresa’s past boyfriend and he’s a bad dude. He said he’d hurt her loved ones if she doesn’t return to his arms.

Ok, maybe that’s true. But adding to the believability of this story is the fact that not even all-powerful Victor (John Aniston) can help her with, “El Fideo.” Who’s more powerful than Victor, right?

So now it looks like Theresa’s sane parents Kim (Patsy Pease) and super spy Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) are going to help her convince everyone that’s she’s returned to her boozing and badness, and eventually disappear.

We know that Lilley is leaving the show, but this is the best scenario TPTB came up with? Soaps are fun because of wacky, outlandish storylines. But this one is just…
