‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Martha Madison Back On DOOL As Belle

‘Days of Our Lives’ tease a return for Martha Madison [Belle Black] not too long after she exited the NBC daytime drama. Madison was a part of a bloodbath which saw four ‘Days of Our Lives’ stars being given the pink slip which included Brandon Beemer [Shawn Brady], Marie Wilson [Ex-Summer], Sal Stowers [Ex-Lani] and Madison herself. It was revealed earlier this year that Madison’s final airdate would be early September. Speculation went wild that Madison was returning after exiting the series this year when pictures was posted of her on the Days set. Now Soap Opera Digest is confirming the actress is indeed back recording upcoming episodes.

According to Jason47, the most recent copy of the soap magazine shares that Madison made her way back to the Days’ set recording episodes that should air in 2017. This is not very surprising considering her onscreen relationship with Beemer’s character. Beemer’s stay was extended due to some contract issues after it previously announced he was given the pink slip. When fans learnt of Beemer’s extended stay they pondered the possibility of Madison being around longer than announced due to their characters reuniting.

According to ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers viewers can look for Madison to indeed leave Salem but to return in 2017. Belle will accept the job offer from Chad [Billy Flynn] to work for DiMera Enterprises in China. She is a very important character on the show so we understand the show’s reason for bringing her back so hastily.

The decision to bring the character back could be one made by the new co-head writing team. Even though her return is confirmed there are still some questions left unanswered for instance how long will she be around. Does Madison return long term to the NBC soap opera or is she returning for a short stint?
