‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Hilary and Devon’s Wedding Interrupted – Who Is The Mystery Man?

“The Young and the Restless” has been building up to Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon’s (Bryton James) wedding for months. They have asked their friends and family to forgive them for the betrayal of falling in love but to look into their hearts to accept their marriage. Everyone has accepted the marriage, but one person- Neil (Kristoff St. John). The preview for Aug. 14 showed Devon interrupting the nuptials to reveal something to Hilary. What do you think he will say to her?

Many people think he will tell her about his bachelor party and the (maybe) cheating that occurred. He could tell her he wasn’t sure what really happened, but he could have been unfaithful. The truth is he didn’t say that to her. He told her that she had never looked more beautiful than she did right then. The wedding seemed to go without any drama until the minister said, “If anyone can think of any reason the two should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.” As he said that, there is a (presumed) male with a black suit walking in the church. It is implied he will stop the wedding with some reason the two should not be married. Who could the mystery man be?

At first, it seemed like the mystery man could be Colin (Tristan Rogers). He has threatened many times to expose Devon’s infidelity to Hilary. Devon has complied with all of Colin’s demands, giving him even more money than before. It seems like Colin wouldn’t want to put a stop to the cash cow he has fallen into with Devon. However, when speaking of Colin, you cannot really put anything past time.

Neil told his best friend, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) he would not attend the wedding. He told Hilary that he needed to get away and won’t attend the wedding. He said to consider it his wedding present to them. Is it possible he shows up to the wedding to reveal the secret about the ‘happenings’ at the bachelor party? If not, who do you think is the mystery man?
