‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday October 14: Adam Wants Chelsea to Testify – Chloe Talks Revenge Plan – Gwen Finds Doctor for Hilary

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, October 14, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will face more disappointment as Neil (Kristoff St. John) finds a glimmer of hope. Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) will insist Adam (Justin Hartley) needs to stop the Paragon virus and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) will put pressure on Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to testify at Adam’s trial. Across town, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will raise concerns as she struggles with her need for revenge.

Devon and Dylan (Steve Burton) turn a doorknob at an undisclosed location. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is nowhere to be found. Devon calls the alleged kidnapper’s number, but it’s out of service. They head to the police station to give Paul (Doug Davidson) updates on the situation. Paul is angry that they’ve been keeping things from them. Dylan says he’ll give Paul the serial numbers from the cash they handed over. Once Devon and Dylan are gone, Paul seems pleased that Dylan is thinking like a cop.

At the athletic club, Cane (Daniel Goddard) tells Lily (Christel Khalil) that Devon and Dylan are going to come up empty-handed. Hilary isn’t at that bogus address. A puzzled Lily asks how Cane knows that. Cane indicates that it just doesn’t make sense. Lily says Cane’s just being negative. They spar until Devon calls with news of their bad luck. Lily isn’t sure how much more Devon can take.

At the lake house, Neil gets upset when Gwen (Nadine Nicole) returns. Gwen says Devon and Dylan were headed elsewhere. They’re safe for now. Neil thinks Hilary needs real help and Gwen agrees. Gwen meets with Emma (Alice Greczyn) and learns that a top-notch doctor was fired. Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) is apparently a miracle worker. Gwen has a lightbulb moment and heads back to the lake house to suggest that this doc can work his magic on Hilary.

Billy (Burgess Jenkins) overhears Chloe talking to someone about keeping “her” for a few more days. When Billy questions who Chloe’s referring to, she claims it’s her dog. The subject changes to Adam and Chloe says they should team up to kill him. They can do it without getting caught. Billy makes it clear that he’s not going down for premediated murder. Chloe brushes it off and says she was just kidding. Chloe adds that she won’t be hanging around for Adam’s trial. Later, Billy tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about his encounter with Chloe. Victoria hints that Billy might want to try forgiveness instead of revenge. Billy replies that there’s no way he’ll ever be able to let go of his anger.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Michael’s plea is about to fall flat with Chelsea. When Michael asks her to testify for Adam, Chelsea refuses. Chelsea maintains that she’s leaving Genoa City. At Newman Enterprises, Victor tells Adam to get to work on stopping the virus. Adam gives him attitude and Victor isn’t pleased. Michael comes to tell Adam about Chelsea’s refusal, but Adam wants to issue a subpoena. Adam declares that he’s going to fight for his family. After Adam leaves, Victor complains about him. Michael insists that Victor doesn’t want his son in jail.

Chloe arrives at Chelsea’s penthouse and argues with her about protecting Adam. Chelsea replies that she was concerned about Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). However, Chelsea admits that she’s seen the light and she’s done with Adam now. Adam shows up and Chloe rips into him. Chloe heads to the park, where she tells Delia her mommy’s going to make things right. Once Chloe’s gone, Adam gives Chelsea a subpoena. Chelsea isn’t happy about it and suggests that she’ll be hostile when she gets up on the stand.

Adam doesn’t seem worried and says he knows Chelsea loves him. Adam wants Chelsea to be there as he tries to live up to her expectations. Perhaps Chelsea can forgive Adam one day. Adam hints that without Chelsea, he might as well be dead. Y&R rumors indicate that Chelsea may come around eventually. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Adam will win back his true love.
