‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers April 20: Jack Escapes, Winston Learns Case Is Compromised, Fake Jack To Sell Jabot as Ashley and Billy Plan Takeover

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers for Monday April 20, 2015 will have Y& R fans reeling and rocking through an incredible episode. We don’t want to give it all away right here but be prepared for escapes and takeovers that will change the course of history for some of the major Genoa City characters. Literally nobody touched by the Fake Jack intrigue will escape unscathed.

Monday April 20, 2015 episode of Y&R opens with Billy [Burgess Jenkins] leaving another message for Jack [Peter Bergman] – Victor [Eric Braeden] is there and he tells Billy and Ashley he got a letter from Jabot legal to investigate the video that shows Jack breaking into Newman Enterprises. Victor tells them not to waste their time, the video is real. Fake Jack walks in with Phyllis and asks, “what is going on.”

Real Jack is screaming, “I will never love you, Kelly [Cady McClain] I would never choose you. I made my choice. It is Phyllis [Gina Tognoni]”

Neil [Kristoff St John] is at the Athletic Club and Devon [Bryton James] comes up and tells him he is drinking but it is just coffee. Devon asks him if he is ready for court. Devon tells Neil he is worried about him but Neil says it is a bit late. Neil assures him no matter what happens in the courtroom it won’t drive him back to the bottle.

Nikki [Melody Thomas Scott] approaches Christine [Laura Lee Bell] and asks, “I guess you are anxious to get this over with?” and Christine replies she is anxious to get the person who killed her baby to pay. Nikki tells Christine that Neil would not have intentionally caused the accident. Christine interrupts surprised and says, “You are trying to plead Neil’s case?” Then Christine says Nikki should be facing conviction too, getting exactly what she deserves.

Paul [Doug Davidson] comes into Crimson Lights and Dylan [Steve Burton] shows him the paper where Sharon is on the front cover and asks him what is this. The paper got the story of the necklace being in Sharon’s [Sharon Case] car trunk. Dylan reminds Paul he gave him the necklace but Paul is not impressed. Dylan tells Paul Sharon is innocent and being framed. Paul feels Dylan is getting too involved with Sharon.

Avery [Jessica Collins] is still with Joe [Scott Elrod]. Joe tells Avery it is still not too late for Avery to join Dylan in Sharon’s defense. Avery says she is where she wants to be. Dr. Shelby comes in. He has Joe’s latest test results.

The doctor has news – Joe’s nervous system has severe damage. He is being transfer to a Therapeutic center. Joe is not happy – he feels they are going to teach him how to live and not how to walk. He tells Avery to leave.

Leslie [Angell Conwell] comes in the hospital to see her husband, Dr. Shelby. He is upset because he gave Joe bad news. Leslie is worried she is going up against a tough prosecutor, Winston. Her husband reassures her.

Winston is getting ready to go to court and Hilary [Mishael Morgan] is in his apartment and they have clearly slept together. He is leaving she wishes him luck with the case.

Dylan tells Paul that just because Avery is not defending Sharon it does not mean she believes Sharon is guilty. Paul thinks Dylan is obsessed with saving Sharon and he has put Avery in jeopardy by getting her involved. Dylan wants to know why Paul is on his back for trying to help a friend. Dylan says to Paul, “Ever since Christine’s accident you are about taking names and getting convictions.” Paul says he cannot find one person including Dylan who is not trying to deceive him – he tells Dylan to stop interfering or he will throw him in jail.

Victor [Eric Braeden] tells Fake Jack that it is a good thing he got sun on his honeymoon because he will not be getting any in a cell. Jack tells Victor if he has an accusation to say it to his face. Victor says, “You broke into the Newman computer system and absconded with sensitive corporate data” Jack says that is Victor’s MO and Phyllis says it cannot be true … Phyllis says, “Jack call his Bluff, say something Jack” Jack says, “I guess I am going to have to call my lawyer.”

Phyllis asks Jack what is going on. Victor tells Jack to get legal advice he has to attend to another legal matter Neil is on trial.

Billy [Burgess Jenkins] is shocked and says, “What the HELL Jack?” Ashley [Eileen Davidson] asks Fake Jack if he is rolling over and Fake Jack says, “I am merely seeking legal advice. Victor just thinks he has me.” Both Billy and Ashley are freaking and Jack says, “Billy you should take off with Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan] go to the islands, it will give you a new perspective.”

Ashley accuses Jack of acting like a child and they have to do something or they will have to make a deal with Victor… Then Jack says, “WELL WOULD THAT BE SUCH A BAD THING?” Ashley and Billy are confused they cannot believe what they head.

Real Jack is screaming for Kelly and says, “If you loved me you would not leave me tied up like this. We use to talk, use to finish each others sentences.” Then Jack’s Dad walks in and says, “Nice try son, but she is not buying it.” His Dad checks his binding and says she did a good job, she drugged your tea too.” Jack says he has to get away, he is worried what Victor did to Phyllis and his Dad says, “There you go again, blaming everything on Victor, look where that has gotten you.”

Real Jack’s Dad [Jerry Douglas] tells him he played right into Victor’s game and he has to use his head and beat Victor at his own game. His father disappears.

Lily [Cristal Khalil] hugs Neil and tells him he won’t be alone. Cane [Daniel Goddard] also came to give Neil support. Leslie [Angell Conwell] comes in and wants to go over Neil’s testimony. Lily tells Neil to listen to Leslie and Neil tells her he loves her.

Hilary comes downstairs at the Athletic Club and asks Devon how Neil is. Devon asks Hilary to show some compassion for Neil and not to get into the gory details of their affair. Devon tells Hilary that Neil is not drinking anymore.

Avery says it is her fault Joe is in the bed. Joe says he acted like a jerk and it is his own fault. Joe tells Avery he does not want pity. Avery wants to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Joe demands she leave he sees Dylan at the door and says, “Come in McAvoy claim you prize, you win!”

Joe is mad at everyone and tells Dylan to take his guilt-ridden fiancé away – he tells Avery to put him in her rear view and go. Dylan and Avery leave.

Billy says Jack must have gotten sun-stroke when he was on the Islands. Jack says, “when I was on the island it occurred to me I have been fighting the same fight with Victor for years and to what end. Who wins, who loses?”

Phyllis tells Billy and Ashley they made a pact with Victor to get the charges against her dropped. Victor pulled some strings to get the real culprit Kelly Andrews. Billy and Ashley want to know how long the pact is suppose to last. Jack says, “The pact is moot, Kelly is dead. We should say the same thing about this feud between Newman and Jabot.” Ashley tells him he cannot just end years of hostility. Jack says, “Just watch me, you will be amazed what I can do. I don’t have to share my strategy with you it is my company and my call. Life is much too short to be worried about corporate rivalry.”

Victor is concerned about Nikki’s health but she says she has to go to courtroom to support Neil. Victor says he is going with her.

Christine is on the stand and Winston is getting her to tell what happened. How she not only lost her baby she cannot have anymore.

Leslie gives Christine her sympathy – Leslie asks Christine why she ran into the path of the car that night and isn’t it true she had a fight with Paul that night? Christine says she was simply going to her car and she was upset. Leslie asks, “so upset you accuse Nikki Newman of aiming her car at you?” Christine says, “That is what it looked like.” Leslie replies, “Because you are convinced Nikki Newman hates you?”

Winston [Ryan Caltagirone] objects because he says Christine is the victim. Leslie says, “Even though Neil confessed you continued to blame Nikki because she had a son by your husband, because she had a child and you did not?” Winston objects.

Paul follows Christine out of the courtroom – she wants Paul to leave her alone she cannot listen anymore – she tells Paul to testify to do it for her and their baby.

Nikki is on the stand. Winston – is asking about what happened and he asks if Neil purposely aimed for Christine. Nikki says Neil pulled the wheel to turn the car around and did not aim at Christine. Winston says, “You changed your story the truth is you two are just drunks.” Nikki is pissed and says she is a recovering alcoholic. Winston goes on and says, “Two admitted drunks out for a lark and you did not care who got in your way isn’t that right?” Victor gets up and says, “Don’t speak to my wife that way.” Leslie objects the judge calls order.

Dylan apologizes to Avery for spending so much time with Sharon. Avery tells Dylan she cannot turn her back on Joe. Dylan tells Avery Joe needs time. Avery thinks Joe needs a friend more

The doctor comes to see Joe and tells him he has good news he can get him into a top-notch rehab place this week. Joe says he knows he will never walk again. Joe is feeling sorry for himself. Joe tells the Doctor he can live without his legs but he cannot live without Avery

Back with Real Jack he is still struggling – he says, “who am I kidding, I don’t know where I am. I don’t know the state my wife is in. All I know is I am being held prisoner by a man I know too well and a women I did not know at all.” Jack’s father is back and he says, “Sounds familiar, there is hope for you Jackie!”

Avery is back – she sees the doctor – the doctor tells her that the right person can make all the difference with Joe.

Billy asks Ashley what the hell happened to Jack. Was it getting married or The Underground collapsing? Jack called Jabot a little thing. Ashley is just as confused. Billy says it does not make any sense. Ashley is freaking because Jack is not conferring with them. Billy says, “Jack the beachcomber, his idea is selling to Victor Newman” Ashley says that is not going to happen. Jack asks how she plans to stop him. Ashley says Jack has forgotten it is a family business and Family does what it has to do.

Winston asks Neil if he denies drinking. Neil says he is not denying he is clarifying – he was drunk and Nikki was stone cold sober and Nikki was trying to take him to get help. Devon stands and says it is his entire fault. He is told to sit down and be quiet.

Winston asks Neil if he takes responsibility for mowing down Christine and killing her unborn child? Neil says, “I am an alcoholic and I was too drunk that night to know what I was doing that is not an excuse and God knows I wish I could change what happened but I cannot. It was the alcohol that made me grab the wheel and that is it, not my son, not Nikki not anything. Nothing but my own sickness “ The prosecution rests.

The defense calls its first witness Mrs. Neil Winters. Hilary gets up with a sly look on her face. Winston turns around and sees her and he is shocked. Hilary is on the stand still with that smile – she swears to tell the truth. Winston is visibly upset.

Joe asks Avery what she is doing back there, she tells him to eat he is going to need his strength to get through it

Dylan is looking at the paper with Sharon’s mug shot – he throws it in the garbage.

Billy tells Ashley she has the look of a great white Shark about to devour her dinner. Ashley says they have to protect Jabot and Jack until he comes to his senses. Billy asks what she has in mind. Ashley says they have to rise up as a family and remove Jack as CEO of Jabot.

Fake Jack asks Phyllis if she is happy. Phyllis feels guilty she is not supporting Neil but she is happy but worried that Victor is going to make good on his threat and send Jack to prison. Fake Jack tells Phyllis it is not going to happen he has spent a lifetime trying to stay out of the mud but this time it is not going to happen. Jack says, “I hacked Jabot and Newman servers to get Victor’s secret weapon. Victor is convinced things are going to work one way and I know they are going to work out another way.”

Jack’s father (the ghost) is talking to Real Jack – he asks if Jack remember Houdini the world’s greatest escape artist. The point is he never gave up he used agility and patience. He tells Jack to make like Houdini, take one hand close your eyes concentrate and get it out.” Jack gets the one hand out and he is excited. Jack’s father is gone – Jack thanks him and gets the rest of the restraints off. He walks to the door opens it up and looks out. A look of shock comes over his face. We don’t know what he sees.

That is it Y&R fans until Monday!  Jack has escaped from Kelly’s clutches but what did he see when he opened the door?  Billy and Ashley are already planning to oust Fake Jack from Jabot.  How long is it going to take before they realize he is an imposter.  Winston’s case is clearly compromised what will he do?
