‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Y&R Alum Cady McClain As You’ve Never Seen Her Before! “Suzy Homemaker Strikes Again”

'The Young and the Restless' News: Y&R Alum Cady McClain As You’ve Never Seen Her Before! "Suzy Homemaker Strikes Again"“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) fans have watched Cady McClain as Kelly Andrews – “All My Children” (AMC) fans have watched her as Dixie Cooney Martin. “As The World Turns” fans may remember the actress as Rosanna Cabot Montgomery. Now McClain fans can see the actress in a whole new light as she brings her deliciously wicked sense of humor back to YouTube.

Have you been wondering what the actress and author has been up to since her stint as Kelly Andrews on “Y&R” ended? Cady posted a link to – “Minding Your Business” – a project she began about three years ago and just recently picked up again. Be careful – the actress isn’t shy about using language you wouldn’t expect to come out of her mouth.

You may not even recognize Cady as her alter ego – Suzy Gabs aka Suzy Homemaker – a smoking, martini-drinking, foul-mouthed, red-haired, bespectacled “homemaker” who gives “practical” advice about life – including how to keep your partner happy. Her favorite catch phrase is “It’s not rocket science.” She even explains to viewers how to use Hulu to watch “your stories.”

Suzy also interviews stars of various daytime dramas – but has a penchant for editing the interviews to make the stars look not so bright. You can find the “Homemaker” interviewing Cady McClain – whom she keeps calling “Catty McSwain,” Thorsten Kaye – when he was Zach Slater on “All My Children,” as well as Melissa Archer when she was Natalie Buchanan on “One Life to Live.”

Cady McClain is keeping busy – perhaps even busier than ever! She penned her autobiography “Murdering My Youth: A Memoir” which was released in 2014. She has also been working with actor/director husband Jon Lindstrom. Jon has starred on a variety of daytime dramas – including “Port Charles” and “General Hospital.

Don’t miss out on Cady’s “Minding Your Business” – but remember – it’s not for the faint of heart or those easily offended by strong language. Tell us what you think of Suzy Homemaker in the comment section below and come back for updates on Cady’s latest projects.
