“The Young and the Restless” has hired Miles Gaston Villanueva to take on the role of Luca Santori. According to Soap Opera Digest the character is described as, “strong-willed, confident and charismatic.”
Miles took to his twitter at the end of July to tease his fans about the possibility he may do something with the popular soap and we finally got the confirmation he is headed to “Y&R.”
The character Luca Santori will first appear on “The Young and the Restless” September 16, 2015. Fans are already speculating how Luca will fit into the storyline of “Y&R”. Luca could come back as Marco’s and Marissa’s son to avenge his father’s death (if he ever dies).

I’ve never heard of this guy. Will he be related to Marisa? “strong-willed, confident and charismatic”, does this mean he will get hired at Newman/Abbott and go toe to toe with Victor or Jack? Will he be a long lost son of Jack Abbott? Yawn…………..Who knows at this point.
