'The Bold and the Beautiful' News: BB Wins International TV Audience Award 10 Years In a Row

“The Bold and the Beautiful” recently celebrated winning the Golden Nymph for International TV Audience Award in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category this evening of June 18 at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. This exciting news for The Bold and the Beautiful confirms that it is once again, for the tenth time in a row, the most watched soap opera series.

Yes, you read that correctly. The Bold and the Beautiful has been winning the International TV Audience Award for 10 years consecutively, making it arguably, the most successful and most watched soap operas of all time.

The award was accepted by Karla Mosley, who plays Maya Avant, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy Forrester, and Jacob Young, B&B’s Rick Forrester. The cast accepted the award at the Closing Awards Ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum on June 18.

The 10th Annual TV Audience Awards category celebrated all of the programs that earned the highest number of viewers in the year 2014, taking in ratings across five continents. The nominees were pre-selected out of the 15 best-performing foreign fiction television shows in a total of 64 countries. The fact that The Bold and the Beautiful won this award again means that the soap opera delivered higher ratings across the entire world in 2014 than any other telenovela or soap opera…for the tenth time in a row we add again.

The Bold and the Beautiful has been raking in the awards. At the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on April 26, 2015, the popular soap opera won a whopping 10 awards, earning the series more awards than any other daytime drama. Some of their awards included Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team, and Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team.

It looks like there is no stopping the powerhouse that is “The Bold and the Beautiful”. Fans are excited to see what will happen next for the daytime soap opera.
