‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ News: Sean Kanan Books New Movie “Limelight”

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Sean Kanan, known for playing Deacon on “The Bold and the Beautiful” has booked a role in a brand new film. Kanan spoke with the outlet about the new project which is titled Limelight.

Sean Kanan says, “It’s called Limelight. It’s filming now in Los Angeles. One of the actors in it is Jonathan Lipnicki from Jerry Maguire. He’s all grown up now and he is not a little kid anymore.”

As far as the rest of the cast goes, Limelight will feature actors such as David Chokachi of Baywatch, Days of Our Lives veteran Jason Brooks, who played Peter at one point, and two talents from the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, Bruce Vilanch and Paul Vandervort.

Sean Kanan goes on to describe the plot of the movie. Kana says, “The story has to do with a kid who is a social media sensation from Colorado, and he is convinced he’s going to be the next big thing so he packs up for the bright lights of Hollywood. I play a very successful, slimy film producer who leads this kid down a very dark path. It’s a sizable part, so it’s going to be fun.”

With a plot like though, we are sure that the film will do rather well. It is extremely retable and current, especially considering the huge increase in social media stardom. We think it is a very smart idea to do something so current, and that has never been done before.

Sean Kanan goes onto reveal that his time working on Limelight will not affect Deacon on The Bold and the Beautiful. He says, “Talk about perfect timing and getting lucky. The show is dark next week and I shoot for seven days. It completely coincided with our week off! I’m so happy about that.”

Well things cannot get any better than that. Not only did Sean Kanan book another job that sounds like it has some promise, but it will not interfere with his current filming schedule on The Bold and the Beautiful.
