‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday December 17: Liz And Sam Face Off – Robert Scorpio Joins Robin Rescue Mission – Jason Accepts Quartermaine Gala Invitation

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the Thursday, December 17 episode show that the Robin Scorpio [Kimberly McCullough] rescue mission is kicking into high gear. Robert Scorpio [Tristan Rogers] is back on the Thursday episode for a short arc of about five episodes.

Robert meets up with Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] and Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] in Paris to get to the bottom of where Robin has disappeared to and how the Cassadines are involved. They will realize she’s not in Paris and they have to hunt elsewhere for her.

Soon we’ll see Anna and Robert storming Jerry Jacks’ [Sebastian Roche] lair looking for Robin. Patrick will confront and threaten Jerry and demand he hand over Robin. We have to wonder if Anna and Robert gave Emma Drake [Brooklyn Rae Silzer] a little gun for this outing or left her at the hotel…

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] chats with Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] about his new-life crisis. Jason doesn’t want to be a hired gun anymore and doesn’t remember his life. His past seems as wrecked as his present. Carly counsels him to decide what he wants without the influence of others.

What Carly really means is not to let anyone influence him but her… She also thinks he needs to get out of his shell and start living his life. With that in mind, Jason surprises Monica Quartermaine [Leslie Charleson] when he accepts an invitation to sit at the Q table at the holiday gala.

Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] and Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] face off again. Liz is angry that Sam blabbed the secret and Jason dumped her. Sam doesn’t give two shakes about that but is herself still angry at Liz’s lies and that Jason didn’t run back to her.

Jason, Liz and Sam will soon have a tense conversation. Jason still obviously has feelings for Liz and that hurts Sam. Meanwhile Sam will make a move to win Jason back by telling him something she’s been holding back. However, advanced GH spoilers tease that Jason will be back in Liz’s arms soon.

December 17 is important in GH history because it’s the day Georgie Jones was killed by the text message killer. Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] and Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] meet in the park to grieve and remember the passing of his former wife and her sister.

Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] is cornered by Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] who wants to use the Nutcracker Gala as part of her plan to re-invigorate Crimson. Nina makes an appeal that should pay off and it looks like Julian Jerome’s [William deVry] hopes for the mag to fail may be dimming.

Julian also plans to put a ring on Alexis Davis’ [Nancy Lee Grahn] finger at or near to the Gala time. Alexis’ second oldest Kristina Corinthos [Lexi Ainsworth] is back in time for Julian to ask her thoughts on him proposing but Kristina has other matters on her mind – she’s keeping a secret about college.

Also, Ava Jerome [Maura West] made a booty call to Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] but now she suspects he’s shagging Tracy Q also. She’s jealous but will end up in bed with her honey anyway. Too bad someone walks in on their mad monkey love. Who could that be?
