‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers Fri, September 4: Anna Wants Lomax Out, Sonny Takes Bullet For TJ, Nik On Hot Seat

Matrimony and mayhem are the themes of Friday’s show – here are some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers about the September 4 episode to get you ready.

First, the mayhem. Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] is sick of all the dirty politics and graft in Port Charles and she’s ready to clean up the city. Anna’s first order of business is to get Mayor Lomax [Saidah Arrika Ekulona] out of office and the rightful mayor back in – Felicia Jones [Kristina Wagner]. Anna needs Jordan Ashford’s [Vinessa Antoine] help.

Anna makes an appeal of why they need to clean up the town and Jordan is more than ready to assist. Jordan is disgusted with Lomax, especially now that she’s buddy-buddy with Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] who is, of course, tight with his mobbed up brother Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard]. Anna and Jordan ride again! The bad guys better watch out.

Speaking of bad guys, Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] is feeling the heat out on Spoon Island. Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] just slapped him with an ultimatum to give ELQ back to Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] or face jail for rigging the Mayoral election. Kyle Sloane [Robb Derringer] also happened to drop by and Nikolas knows Kyle has the goods on him.

Looks like Nikolas will have to buy some time – we know he won’t give back ELQ, Nikolas needs it too badly. And he’s not one to admit when he’s done wrong. Look for Nikolas to be slippery and get them all out of his house so he can plot some more. Sloane will be dead soon and that will help Nik a lot – and will also implicate the Cassadine prince in his killing.

Julian Jerome [William deVry] has a face to face with Olivia Falconeri [Lisa LoCicero]. Julian is quick to reassure her that, despite his arrest, his hands are clean and he’s truly out of the mob biz. This conflicts with what Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] told her, so now Olivia has to figure out what to believe and whether she should reveal the truth about baby Leo to Julian.

Now to the wedding stuff. Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] shows up, as promised, to support Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] and reassures his brother that even if he is bipolar and lost Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin], things will be okay with him. Michael, Morgan and Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] notice that their dad has been gone longer than seems right.

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] gets the glam treatment from Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms], so she’s looking lovely for the wedding. Maxie also notices the lovely bouquet of flowers and Carly says they’re from her BFF Jake Doe [Billy Miller] who dropped by to wish her well on her big day, but asks Maxie not to spill to Sonny that Jake was there since he doesn’t like the guy.

Carly then gets some quality time with other Spencer women – Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan], Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] and Bobbie Spencer [Jaclyn Zeman]. They have some special gifts for her big day and Carly is touched. All is going so well – even Lulu and Valerie seemed to have smoothed out their differences – at least for now. Everyone starts to wonder where Sonny is.

Sonny is at the warehouse trying to save TJ Ashford [Tequan Richmond] who has been kidnapped by his mob rival. Sonny was certain he would be dealing with Julian’s guys – but they are working for a new boss now. Looks like today might be the day we get a look at who is really after Sonny – it’s not Julian – just before Sonny takes a bullet to save the kid.

The only I do Sonny will be saying today is “I do want surgery to get this 9 mm slug out of my gut.” And, to make things worse, remember, there’s also no cake! Looks like a cliffhanger with the shooting today is the likely case – will the waiting wedding party hear that Sonny was shot or will it be Monday before they hear about his near-fatal attack?
