‘General Hospital’ Poll: Who Will Be Hit Hardest by GH’s Jake Doe is Jason Morgan Reveal?

'General Hospital' Poll: Who Will Be Hit Hardest by GH's Jake Doe is Jason Morgan Reveal? The clock is rapidly ticking down in Port Charles for when the big “Jake Doe is Jason Morgan” [Billy Miller] revelation will occur. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate it could be as soon as the Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] and Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] wedding in September – or as late as November sweeps for the full reveal. But more people, perhaps Jake himself, will learn the truth in coming days, but keep it quiet before the big announcement to all of the town.

When the news does break, though, who will be the most affected by finding out Jason Morgan is back from the dead? Here’s a look at those with closest ties to Jason and what it could mean to them.

Little Jake Spencer [James Nigbor]

Little Jake doesn’t remember his mother, but is there a chance he knew Jason before his face changed? Was there any overlap of when little Jake was being held by Helena Cassadine [Constance Towers] and one of the times that Helena stole Jason? Kids are pretty amenable, so likely the reveal won’t send little Jake into a tailspin plus he already has loving big Jake in his life, so he’ll be fine – except for those pesky rumors that Helena may have brainwashed the kid and he’s a little bitty Manchurian Candidate…

Danny Morgan [Braiden/Dylan Kazowski]

Little Danny also only remembers his dad Jason from photos and mom Sam talking about his bio-dad. In reality, he’s bonded with other men like Silas Clay [Michael Easton] and Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] much more than his actual father. Knowing his dad is back from the dead and getting to know him will likely be a happy time for Danny and could save him from trouble in years to come. But if his dad chooses to stay with Liz and Little Jake, this revelation could hurt Danny…

Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco]

Sam is going to be really hard hit. On one hand, she’ll be thrilled that both little Jake and her son Danny Morgan have their dad back, but she also has to deal with the fact that Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] has had him in her bed for months. Plus, Sam is truly happy with Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] and has a nice little family going with him. Sam and Jake have had their issues – and even if Jake knows he’s Jason, that doesn’t mean he will remember his relationship with Sam, so that could be hard on her…

Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson]

This week, rumor has it, Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] will tell Patrick something about the Jake/Jason thing and he’ll rush to propose to Sam to try and keep her with him. Patrick knows just how hard it can be on a relationship to have a spouse come back from the dead – as happened with he and Sabrina Santiago [Teresa Castillo] and Robin Scorpio [Kelly McCullough]. Don’t expect Patrick to let Sam go without a fight. He’ll remind her that Jason was a killer and Jake may be better off with Liz…

Monica Quartermaine [Lesley Charleson]

Let’s hope Monica finds out that her one remaining son/stepson is still alive while she’s at GH in case she has a coronary. Monica will be more than thrilled that Jason is alive and will be doubly excited since Jake seems like the Jason Q of old, not the stone cold mob assassin. Monica already has Jason’s grandkids which is great, but to have him back – and back to being a good guy will be huge. Monica will want him back at the Q mansion and likely away from Liz and definitely far from the mob…

Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst]

Liz knows it’s only a matter of time before her world comes crashing down on her. Once people know that Jake is Jason and she and Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] have been secret-keeping, she’ll have more than just a broken heart to worry about. Will Jason dump her in favor of Sam? Can Jake forgive her months of lies? Can anyone in Port Charles forgive her including Sam, Monica, Carly, Sonny and all of Jason’s loved ones? What will Liz have left when this all comes out? Not much…

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright]

In a way, Carly’s situation with the Jake/Jason reveal may stay status quo. Sure, Jason was her BFF who has been beside her all these years, but Jake has filled that gap in her life since came along. The reveal will make it clear to Carly why she had such an affinity for Jake and believed in him when almost no one else in Port Charles did. Carly will be overjoyed that her two BFFs are actually one BFF with two different faces. Expect pure, unadulterated joy from Carly when all this comes out…

Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard]

Sonny, however, is going to feel awful about the reveal. Not only did Sonny not recognize his BFF and near-brother, but he hassled him, hated him and, at one point, even thought about having Jake killed off. Sonny may dip into a shame spiral. This will all be made much harder by the obvious fact that new Jason wants nothing to do with violence and the mob. Jake knows he has some shady skills, but not why and he’ll be horrified to find out he’s a killer. This could drive a permanent rift between them…

Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell]

Michael will be thrilled to find out that his new mentor Jake is his old mentor Jason. Like Carly, Michael has put a lot of faith into Jake and has believed in him for quite some time now. The Jake as Jason reveal will cement every good thing that Michael has thought about Jake and it will all make sense to him. Their relationship won’t change much because it operates a lot like it would if Jake had been Jason all along. But it will quell any sadness Michael had over the loss of his Uncle Jason…

Sam loves Jason and she’s going to be so happy he’s alive! She’ll definitely choose him over Patrick! Patrick talking about Jason’s violent life won’t matter! Sam will feel guilty that she moved in with Patrick and has been living this whole different life while her husband has been alive! She’ll hate hurting Patrick and Emma! Plus, she’ll be heartbroken if Jason doesn’t remember her! She’ll also be angry at everyone who kept it a secret, including Jason! If Jason knows who he is and doesn’t tell her, she’ll be devastated! She’ll definitely tear Liz apart! If Patrick is trying so hard to hold on to her, then they can’t be solid enough! While the split will be heartbreaking, it won’t come out of nowhere since it’s what he’ll be trying to prevent! Plus, he knows she never really got past Jason’s death! Elizabeth has always been afraid the truth would come out, so it won’t be surprising when it does! Everybody else has more to gain by Jason being alive! For Sam and Sonny, the information will come out of left field and make them regret a lot! Sonny will feel guilty that he almost had his best friend killed! For Sam, she gave up on the love of her life and believed he was dead! She became part of another family and didn’t know Jason was right there! Plus, if Jason kept the truth from her! She has the most to be heartbroken, guilty, and angry about, but she’ll also be happy; a big mass of jumbled emotions!

Reunite Jason and Sam already! This thing with Liz is sick! She and Nikolas deserve their comeuppance and I can’t wait to see it!

Hurry up and end the story line before I decide to stop watching.

Liz because she has had many chances to reveal the truth and just kept on lying.

I think everyone will be happy that he is alive. Nobody should be more happy than another other than Jason’s children who don’t remember him really. The war of the Jason women is really a none issue. It will be up to the writers and some folks won ‘t be happy. I’ve been waiting a long time for my couple so I will have to wait to see if I finally get them.
