‘General Hospital’ (GH) RUMORS: Will Franco And Nina Have A Baby, Or Is Kiki As Close To A Child As Nina Will Get?

'General Hospital' (GH) RUMORS: Will Franco And Nina Have A Baby, Or Is Kiki As Close To A Child As Nina Will Get?This ‘General Hospital’ spoiler digs into one of the coolest storylines right now on GH – the strange surrogate family situation that’s happening between Franco [Roger Howarth], Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] and Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin]. It seems like Franco and Nina are using Kiki as a substitute child – or perhaps even like a pet they can practice on while they blend into a loving family unit.

Mind you, they are not using Kiki to an extent that she’s not getting something out of the arrangement. Kiki is dangerously close to being off the rails and needs some stability in her life. And, hilarious as it seems, nutty Nina and freaky Franco are her best shot at normalcy right now. Plus, those two put the fun in dysfunction. But once they get Kiki on the straight and narrow, what then?

What does fate have in store for Franco and Nina? It doesn’t seem like they have much of a revenge agenda to pursue anymore. They already bested Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst]. Remember that epic line of Franco’s to Ric “Take the pen or go to the pen” and then Ric caved and signed the annulment papers? And Nina did have beef with Silas Clay [Michael Easton] but he’s dead so that’s done.

Nina’s mom is another source of angst, but Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills] is behind bars, so she got what was coming to her. Franco’s main enemies in town are Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] and Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] but Sonny is a cripple (at least for now), so Franco would not kick the guy while he’s down anyway. That leaves Franco and Nina at loose ends.

This week, Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] will ask Franco what his intentions are with his sister and this will get Franco thinking. Of course, Franco loves her, but what’s the end game? What seems most probable is that Nina will want to play house in a more traditional way. Nina will want the big wedding, the walk down the aisle with the man she loves – and then a baby!

With 20 years in a coma, though, can Nina still have a baby? Likely she can. She just hasn’t had the chance to try. Remember, Nina told Franco that Silas was the only man she’s been with and that was more than 20 years ago. No wonder Nina is off her rocker – she hasn’t had a roll in the sheets since her 20s. It will be interesting to see how Nina changes (and she will) once she and Franco consummate.

Fingers crossed that their lovemaking produces a FraNina. Imagine how adorable these two would be dealing with pregnancy, the first kick of their baby, the miracle of birth and bringing a little lunatic home for them to obsess over together. There would never be a child in all of Port Charles more loved, protected and well-dressed. Let’s hope Franco and Nina consummate then gestate – and do so soon!

My mother was told she was unable to have children so they had adopted and when she was in menopause at age 40, she started having some nausea and other female problems and went to the doctor and hello! There they were in their 40’s…..preggers. It can happen. The doctors told my mother she would never be able to carry a baby to term and if she did, it would have Down’s Syndrome and they advised her to terminate the pregnancy, which seems rather odd for 1960, but no, they wanted to keep me…and they did. No Down’s Syndrome. Perfectly healthy baby. So if it can happen in real life in 1960, it can surely happen on a soap!
