‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) Interview: Katherine Kelly Lang Talks About Life And A Possible Brooke and Ridge Reunion

“Bold and the Beautiful” (B&B) star Katherine Kelly Lang is a little bit like her alter ego Brooke Logan Forrester. Katherine is involved in the fashion industry and she is also the ultimate beautiful blonde California girl. When she was in her early 20s she appeared in a Beach Boys video “Getcha Back” and whenever she hears their songs she remembers those days fondly.

And not only does Katherine love California, she is completely in love with her boyfriend Dominique Zoida. The couple has been together for two years and the actress says, “We’re inseparable. We do everything together. He even helps me study my lines by reading all the other parts!” But Brooke Forrester hasn’t been able to find that kind of love – and Katherine Kelly Lang isn’t too focused on whether Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke will find their way back to each other. In an interview with Soaps In Depth the actress revealed, “I actually think it’s great for Brooke to be without a guy for a while and figure out who she is and what she wants out of her life.”

In fact Katherine – if she could – would offer this advice to Brooke – “Love yourself, first and foremost. If you take care of yourself, you’ll know what you need as a person.” The actress believes it will be interesting to see where the writers take Brooke – especially the dealing with the character’s alcoholism. “I was hoping to see it draw out longer – I would have liked to have seen more of a progression with it,” Katherine Kelly Lang reveals.

It’s going to be tough for Brooke to keep Ridge’s new wife Caroline Spencer Forrester (Linsey Godfrey) from finding out the secret about his vasectomy and infertility. Listening as Caroline goes on and on about how much she wants a baby with Ridge already has Brooke biting her tongue – hard! Will she spill it all? And when the secret finally comes out will Brooke be there for Ridge as more than a friend?

Would you like to see Brooke and Ridge reunited? Right now Brooke is the only one Ridge can turn to in order to share his secret. If Caroline starts seeing the ex-lovers spending more time together she may get the wrong idea. What happens if the new Mrs. Forrester is pregnant following her accidental night with Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode)? Or will Ridge’s secret come out before then?

Life may be a little tough for Brooke Forrester right now, but Lang is very happy with her life. She has her line of kaftans – Katherine Kelly Lang Kaftans – a beautiful home in Malibu and a loving boyfriend who just happens to be her best friend.
