The Young and Restless Spoilers: Double Trouble For Lily And Cane – Teen Twins Hit Genoa City

The Young and the Restless’ Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Ashby’s (Christel Khalil) twins are going to change in a major way. We have the details here.

Y&R spoilers tease that Lily and Cane will have some angsty parenting moments ahead of them because they will no longer be raising little kids, but will now have teenagers. Noah Alexander Gerry and Lexi Stevenson will be taking over the part of Charlie and Mattie beginning on Wednesday, May 24th. So now Cane and Lily will definitely have their hands full.

Gerry has appeared in a 2011 episode of the Disney’s channel show called Ant Farm and also did some commercial work as a youngster, but this will be Stevenson first major role.

According to a congratulations tweet by Stevenson’s acting coach, she inked a two- year contract with Y&R, so we can only assume Gerry did as well. So Y&R fans how do you feel about the kids being aged that fast. Charlie and Mattie was born in 2010 and now are teenagers in high school. They sure do age kids fast on the soaps!

Now Lily Ashby will definitely be able to relate with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) when it comes to mothering hard-headed teens. Victoria has had her hands full with her son Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and now Lily will get a fill of the same.

With Y&R aging the Ashby’s twins so much this has left fans wondering if they will do the same with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Fans have really grown attached to the sweet little Alyvia as Faith and hope that the show will not get rid of her, although this will make a huge age difference between her and the twins. Do you Y&R fans think they should age her too or keep her the same?
