‘General Hospital’ News: Maurice Benard Shares Beautiful Throwback Wedding Photo Of His Wife With Sweet Message

“General Hospital’s” Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) sets hearts swooning onscreen, but he’s a real sweetheart at home, too!

The talented actor posted a flashback wedding photo guaranteed to make even the worst Monday blahs better. That’s because in addition to posting the ultra-cute pic, Benard includes the sweetest note to his lovely bride.

“Sometimes in life you meet someone who not only changes your life…” begins Benard, before going on to thank Paula for helping him to become a better husband, father and man. Aw!

If seeing these two lovebirds in their matrimonial finery, knowing they have enjoyed many wedded years together doesn’t make you melt, maybe you’re related to Olaf!

GH fans know that life is a lot messier for Benard’s alter ego. This week Sonny’s world promises to get even dicier. This week he confronts his daughter Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) for stepping out on her boyfriend. The Dimpled Don will also try to have a father-daughter talk about her fluid sexuality, something the sensitive young woman has tried to avoid.

Kristina may be surprised when she finds out that Sonny is less concerned about her sexual identity than he is about her two-timing his newest coffee house employee Aaron Roland (John DeLuca). Then there’s Sonny’s under-the-table alliance (does the mob boss even do above-board agreements?) with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Will GH fans see Sonny’s pact with the medically fragile doctor blow up like an unplanned coffee warehouse explosion?

One thing’s for sure: GH fans are sure to get some answers to Sonny’s conundrums this week, but there’s no guarantee he’s going to like the consequences.
