The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of October 5 reveal that Nick could spiral in the aftermath of Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) overdose setback.

He’ll have this urging need to “deal” with drug dealer Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell), but even more so, he may want to reach for some pills, more than ever.

Could this be an opportunity for Nick to call upon his sponsor, Jack? Jack will undeniably step up for his former stepson and do all he can to ground the man in his time of need.

Major Cover-Up

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that there’s a very good chance Nick will confront Joe. Nick can be a hothead when it comes to playing “hero”, so could he cross a line?

While Jack will be there for Nick as someone to lean on where drug temptation is concerned, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could step in to cover up anything Nick does to Joe.

Nick could simply beat the man up or leave him in the hospital fighting for his life! Victor is the master of cover-ups, so he may bully the man, bribe him with money, or both, so only time will tell.

In other news, with all the Nick drama that has hit the fan, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could find herself leaning on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for more than just bedroom activities.

While there is no label on their situationship and their romance has been limited to the sheets, these two could bond over Nick’s issues and find themselves connecting on another level.

Pre-Wedding Festivities

Across town, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will continue to plan for their wedding and pre-wedding festivities.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be planning the bachelorette, so viewers should expect some minor friction between her and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as the two try to get along and make it an affair to remember!

Plus, Kyle and Jack will continue to plan Billy’s bachelor party, so it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.

Lily Winters Secret

Lastly, The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of October 5 note that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will go back and forth about whether to tell Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) the secret she’s hiding.
