- Sally’s water breaks unexpectedly.
- Lily gets an important health update.
- Victoria and Kyle hatch a dangerous plan.
Sally’s Special Wedding Guest, Billy’s Scary Call, Sally’s Water Breaks!
Monday, October 19, Sally’s special wedding guest arrives. It’s her grandmother, Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo)!
She’ll be thrilled that Grandma Spectra, who raised her and her sister Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell), is there.
In the meantime, the groom, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), gets a scary call from Snapper Foster (David Hasselhoff), who has Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) on a three-way call.
It won’t be good news about Jill Abbott (most recently played by Lauren Koslow)!
Later, as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pays a call to Sally in her room, wanting to extend his congratulations after the “I do’s,” Sally’s water breaks!
As earlier Y&R spoilers warned, Sally’s baby could arrive during the wedding festivities, and Adam may find himself playing an unexpected role in the birth.
Also, Billy’s other children with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are back, and everyone marvels at how much Johnny and Katie Abbott (Paxton Mishkind, Sienna Mercuri) have grown.
And it’s discovered that Lauren already knows Coco from their dealings with Forrester Creations and other companies in Los Angeles, due to Lauren’s own fashion business.
Friends and Family Continue Their ‘Silly’ Celebration, Cane’s Distressing News, Sharon’s Tough Decision
On Tuesday, October 20, friends and family continue their “Silly” celebration as Billy and Sally’s wedding reception begins, apparently without Sally!
And the three-way call appears to continue as Cane gives Billy distressing news.
It’s not clear if Billy stays on the call or is possibly called away to Sally’s room or the hospital, but the distressing news is obviously about Jill’s condition.
Meanwhile, at Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) cabin, she’s forced to make a tough decision by Nick Newman (Josh Morrow), likely related to Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) situation.
In the Y&R weekly preview video, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is also shown in the room as Nick tells her, “Matt is safely put away.”
Lily’s Health Update, ‘Silly’s’ First Challenge, An Abbott Family History Lesson
Wednesday, October 21, Lily gets a health update concerning whether her cancer has returned. Her previous tests came back inconclusive.
And with Billy and Sally, they encounter their first challenge as a married couple. Might it be trying to figure out honeymoon time around a newborn?
As for the rest of the Abbott family, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will give Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) a history lesson.
Considering something untoward may have happened with Jill, might that history lesson be about her?
Jill had been married to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman), Traci’s, and Ashley’s father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), twice, years before Abby was born.
Victor’s Interrogation, Billy’s Promise, Nikki’s Change of Heart
Thursday, October 22, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) interrogates Nick, likely about where exactly he put Matt!
In the meantime, Billy makes a promise to Sally. It makes sense that he may promise never to be absent when she needs him again.
As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she has a change of heart about a rival. Who might that be?
And back to Adam, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) sees a new side to him.
Lauren’s Change in Plans, Victoria and Kyle’s Dangerous Plan, Victor’s Advice
Finally, on Friday, October 23, Lauren makes a change in plans in order to help a loved one in need.
It will be interesting to see exactly who that will be and what she has to change.
In the meantime, Victoria and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) concoct a dangerous plan.
After their near exposure by Victor, might they make an even riskier plan to continue their meet-ups?
As previous Y&R spoilers revealed, Victor was already suspicious of Victoria’s behavior, and the Newman patriarch certainly isn’t someone who gives up easily.
Victoria had overslept, and Victor called because she was supposed to be in a video meeting with a Japanese client. He joined the call and started tracking her movements!
But Victor will be too busy to keep tracking Victoria now, with his tracking Nick and giving Adam some much-needed advice.
What might that advice be?
Meanwhile, Celebrating The Soaps has more on Sally’s labor nightmare and Adam’s shocking involvement, which could make Billy’s first days as a married man even more complicated.
Annemarie’s Take
Sally and Billy certainly aren’t getting much time to enjoy married life before the drama begins!
Between Sally going into labor and Billy receiving frightening news about Jill, this wedding celebration could turn into an emotional roller coaster.
I’m especially curious about Adam’s role in Sally’s emergency. Could this finally change the relationship between Adam and Billy?
And Victoria and Kyle are playing a dangerous game if they think they can keep fooling Victor Newman!
Do you think Billy will be forced to choose between Sally and Jill, and will Victor finally catch Victoria and Kyle? Let us know in the comments!
