Y&R Spoilers: Victor Frames Matt for Nick’s Crime, Protects Son While Sinking Enemy?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will prove he’s a devoted dad following Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) rehab release.

Y&R fans will see Victor do everything in his power to make sure Nick gets a chance to start fresh.

Nick has a now teenage son who needs him around, so being there for Christian Newman (last played by Alex Wilson) will be a priority for him. Although Nick’s progress has been slow, he finally feels like he’s ready to try getting back to some version of normal.

Of course, Nick’s addiction issues won’t just disappear overnight. It looks like Nick’s old dealer may take advantage of that since he has more scenes coming up.

Based on some behind-the-scenes info, we know Nick has an alarming faceoff on the way. Nick’s anger will erupt, so his dealer will end up on the ground unconscious or possibly deceased.

Considering what just happened with Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) husband, Logan Kirkland (Tommy Walker), at the rehab clinic, the last thing Nick needs is another dead body connected to him.

Nick already tried to cover for Marie following Logan’s accidental demise. Marie ultimately came clean, but the cops could wonder if that version of the story was even accurate if another body turns up tied to Nick.

That’s why if this drug dealer does lose his life, Victor may do what he does best and cover it up. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time some shady Newman activities got swept under the rug thanks to Victor.

Nick already landed in a similar situation when he decked Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and inadvertently killed him years ago. Victor made sure that problem went away and could do the same thing when it comes to any fatal drug dealer news.

What if Victor decides this could be the perfect opportunity to get Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) out of the picture as well? Perhaps Victor could frame Matt for Nick’s crime and try to make it look like Matt caused the drug dealer’s demise instead.

Matt’s past drug connections could come back to haunt him if Victor uses them as part of the frame-up. Victor could make sure some bogus evidence points at Matt and attempt to put him behind bars instead of Nick.

Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will make some bold moves for Nick’s sake in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
