Y&R Spoilers: The Twist No One Saw Coming – Christine Goes After Victor!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is gloating right now because he thinks he’s in the catbird seat.

He’s had his enemies arrested and they are set to be prosecuted by his own DA. What could go wrong?

Victor is Playing Christine

Victor handily had Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) installed as GC’s DA just in time for the prosecution of Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Never mind that he fabricated evidence against them then filed a complaint with his DA.

Phyllis stole Newman Enterprises yes, but how is Victor faking evidence of that “proof?”

The last we checked the DA has to go on solid intel not emotional drama. We suspect that Christine will not like being fooled—more on that later.

Phyllis and Cane Arrested

Victor has committed fraud in order to get back at his enemies: but do two wrongs make a right? In Victor’s defense, he has been overwrought after losing his empire.

Proof of this is the incredibly shabby way he’s treated his long-suffering wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) Nikki knows what losing NE has done to Victor but has stood her ground (so far).

Nikki Stands Tall

Victor was an orphan with nothing for much of his life, so losing his life’s work is devastating. This is understandable but again, his reaction has been horrid and unlawful.

Nikki and their kids know how much NE means to Victor but how far are they willing to go to aid and abet him?

Make no mistake, Victor is a victim but what he’s doing in turn is just as despicable.
What Happens Next in GC?

What is not sitting right with many fans is how easily Victor had Christine installed as the DA and how quickly she’s gone after Cane and Phyllis.

There is historical bad blood between the two women, but Christine has always been level-headed.

It almost hurts to see her acting as Victor’s lap dog!

Which is why we predict that she eventually wakes up and sees what Victor is doing.

Christine has scruples and will lose it when she finds out Victor is making a buffoon of her.
