The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when it comes to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) just can’t quit him, even though she knows that she should.
Keep reading below for all the details you need to know.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sharon Can’t Back Away From Matt
According to the latest Y&R spoilers, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is questioning whether or not Sharon should be the one giving Matt the therapy that he desperately needs right now.
Simply put, Sharon might not be in the position to listen to all of Matt’s problems, seeing as she knows the other side of the story.
With that said, Sharon argues that listening to Matt and his problems might have been the only way to get him to go to the clinic.
Otherwise, they would have stayed at square one.
If that weren’t enough, it seems like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is also going to offer his opinion about the matter, even though he’s got his own demons that he’s dealing with right now.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nick is going to stop by Sharon’s place to make sure that Matt is gone and that he is indeed at the facility.
Not only that, but Nick is also going to try to convince Sharon that she needs to back away from Matt altogether.
As Soap Opera Spy recently reported, Matt’s unexpected return to Sharon’s home has already raised serious concerns about her safety.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What Decision Is Sharon Going To Make?
But at the same time, Sharon knows that if she backs away from Matt and breaks the agreement they made together, this might set Matt back completely.
That, and she might end up in a very dangerous situation, which she, of course, doesn’t want to be in again.
It’s not like Matt is the safest person to be around as it is.
After all, Sharon’s latest dangerous decision could put her directly in Matt’s path again.
And as Celebrating The Soaps has explored, Mariah’s complicated connection to Matt could make this situation even more difficult for Sharon.
Then again, Y&R fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what happens next.

Editor’s Take
I think Nick has every reason to worry about Sharon. Matt has caused so much trouble for their family that trusting him again seems like a terrible gamble.
Sharon may believe she’s helping Matt, but she needs to remember that she’s putting herself in danger by getting personally involved.
And Mariah has a point. Matt needs professional treatment from someone who doesn’t have such a complicated history with him.
Do you think Sharon should walk away from Matt, or is she right to keep her promise and help him get treatment?
