Y&R Spoilers: Lily Sacrifices Her Happiness For Cane’s Freedom?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could hold Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) fate in her hands.

Lily is counting on Cane to save Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) life with a marrow transplant.

He is a match and planned to fly to New York for the life-saving procedure. However, he can’t very well do that in handcuffs.

Let’s break down why Cane is being carted off to the GCPD!

Cane Saves Malcom?

With Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) help, can Cane sort out this mess? He needs to post bail and get court approval to go to New York. Time is of the essence and this procedure cannot be delayed.

Cane’s legal woes are due to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), causing Lily to rue the day she went into league with him.

As you will recall, Lily went into partnership with Victor with a fake kidnapping. Now Lily needs Cane to sidestep Victor’s charges in order to save Malcolm.

Lily Needs Help

We predict that Lily goes to Victor and pitches a proposal to make the charges disappear. Victor had promised Lily control of Chancellor in exchange for the fake kidnapping; he has yet to make good on that promise.

The lag is due to Victor using Chancellor for his AI program scheme in which Cane has been implicated. It’s a lie, with Victor manufacturing false evidence.

Who Gets Chancellor?

Will Lily tell Victor she wants to make a new deal for Cane’s freedom? If so, her only bargaining chip is Chancellor.

She may ask him to get Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) to drop the charges against Cane, and maybe Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and focus on going after Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Then again, maybe Victor will tell Lily to get Phyllis to give back the Newman empire in exchange for all the evidence going away (that would not make Christine happy).

With Cane’s arrest affecting Malcolm’s treatment, Phyllis may realize the magnitude of the situation and relent—then again this is Phyllis were talking about!
