Are Snapper And Jill Working Together?

Snapper Foster (who was last portrayed by David Hasselhoff) might be involved in this scheme, as he was the one who informed Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about Jill’s deteriorating condition.

Shortly after, Sally relayed the information to Billy, which resulted in him reaching out to Jill via phone. In that moment, Billy was more compassionate than he had been in ages, even referring to her as “Mom” instead of Jill, a stark contrast to their previous arguments.

The realization that he could potentially lose his estranged mother served as a significant wake-up call for him. Their conversation was heartfelt, indicating a notable emotional reconciliation between them.

Billy Wasn’t So Excited About His Chancellor Grab With Cane Anymore

Suddenly, Billy wasn’t so enthusiastic about snatching back Chancellor with Cane’s help anymore. It was hard for Billy to be in a celebratory mood when he was worried about Jill’s heart giving out.

In fact, Billy suggested it’d easier if none of this takeover drama was happening-though he ultimately assured Cane that he was still all in on their joint win over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Billy at least wants Cane to hold off on publicly gloating about his Newman takeover and Billy’s Chancellor grab.

However, we have to consider if Jill might already know and be manipulating the situation; the timing is awfully suspicious when you think about it!

Jill Didn’t Want Billy To Come See Her-That Seems Really Odd!

Jill urged Billy not to come see her, so what if that’s really because she’s faking her medical setback?

We wouldn’t put it past Jill to stoop to this level since Cane, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Billy have already been stooping pretty low themselves. Plus, if Jill is in such bad shape, why isn’t she in the hospital?

That’s something Cane was perplexed about-and it’s something Y&R fans have questions about, too. Victor supposedly got the same health setback story from Snapper, but what if he’s just playing along with her plan?

Jill And Victor Could Also Be Working Together

It’s possible that Jill and Victor are collaborating on one front while he investigates other options.

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will share some news related to Jill with Billy-what if Lauren is unaware that Jill is reportedly quite unwell and perhaps catches up with her off-screen?

Lauren might excitedly tell Billy about the enjoyable time they had, leaving him puzzled about the situation.

Perhaps a bewildered Lauren could affirm that Jill appeared to be doing well, causing Billy to feel betrayed once more.

Was Jill hoping that her fabricated health issue would persuade Billy to abandon his pursuit of Chancellor, and did she think it might also give Cane some pause?
