Avery Bailey Clark (Jessica Collins) departed from the show in 2015, but it would be wonderful to see her come back to the CBS soap for fresh storylines.
Avery Is The Younger Sister Of Phyllis, And She’s An Attorney
For those viewers who weren’t tuning in at that time or simply need a reminder, Avery is the spirited younger sister of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and also a lawyer.
With Phyllis planning to dismiss Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) during the week of May 18-22, she might soon require another legal representative.
What if Avery Bailey Clark makes her long-awaited return to act as Phyllis’ attorney and help resolve the chaos she’s created?
Given that Phyllis and Avery don’t always see eye to eye, it’s easy to envision them butting heads over past grievances and current defense tactics.
The return of Avery as Phyllis’ lawyer would certainly open up a wealth of opportunities for captivating drama.
Avery Shares A Romantic Past With Nick, As Does Phyllis Herself-Sharon Won’t Like It
Certainly, Avery shares a romantic past with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), which means Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may have to witness their potential reunion and the possibility of them rekindling their relationship.
Sharon probably won’t like it, although at least he won’t be reuniting with Phyllis! But, before that can happen, Nick needs to overcome his drug addiction, but there’s a chance he could eventually get his life back on track and fall for Avery once more.
Some fans have speculated whether Avery’s ex-husband, Joe Clark (Scott Elrod), could be connected to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) due to their shared last name. It’s an interesting thought, but having Avery return to the show would be fantastic no matter what.
Avery Is Needed In Genoa City, Whether The Original Actress Or A Recast
Jessica Collins is a skilled actress, and Y&R would be fortunate to secure her for Avery’s comeback.
However, given the time that has passed, viewers would likely be open to accepting a recast if needed. Would you be interested in seeing Avery Bailey Clark make her way back to Genoa City in some capacity?
Should Phyllis consider hiring Avery to represent her if she ultimately fails to get her charges dismissed?
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Phyllis might need some extra legal assistance, so keep an eye out for any news regarding family reunions that could be on the horizon.
