Y&R News: Lucas Adams Scores New Top Secret Role

The Young and the Restless viewers said goodbye to Lucas Adams this month, and Noah Newman officially left Genoa City.

Noah and his girlfriend decided to relocate for their safety, and it doesn’t look like the legacy will be back on the CBS soap any time soon.

The good news is, he Y&R alum just scored a new job and will be back on our television screens soon, keep reading for all of the details!

Lucas Adams Exits Y&R

Adams was well known among soap fans when he debuted on The Young and the Restless, because he previously played the part of Tripp Dalton on Days of Our Lives for several years.

Ironically, his Genoa City girlfriend (Tamara Braun) was his mother on DOOL.  The actor made his debut as a Noah Newman recast in November, 2025.

According to reports, Lucas Adams won’t be off TV for long and he has already landed two new jobs.

The former Noah Newman portrayer booked a role on the popular primetime series RJ Decker, which is set to air on September 15 on ABC.  But, his reps say he also booked a second top secret job that they can’t reveal yet.

Y&R Star Is Moving On

Adams is apparently repped by a company called New Beginnings Ent and they shared an update on Instagram, and announced the Y&R alum’s new project.

Per their Instagram post, “Not to fear though Lucas is making his mark just the same with a Guest Starring role on RJ Decker and a REALLY COOL, REALLY NEAT, REALLY SECRETIVE PROJECT ( can NOT wait to share this one) that is keeping him really busy this month!”
