Y&R Fans Are Done With One Particular Storyline

Time For A Secret To Blow Up – Or Be Buried For Good

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) have been holding a deep, dark secret for years now.

As fans recall, a snarky art dealer – Richard (Mike Falkow) – forced himself on Audra at the Shadow Room when she and Holden were buddies in Los Angeles.

Holden defended the brunette by punching the man, and the slimeball ended up passing away because of it.

It was an accident on all accounts. Sure, Holden got physical, but his intent was not death.

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) had a problem with the “cleaned up” version of the story when Holden first told her, as she felt there was much more to this than meets the eye.

With that said, since she and Holden have recently reconnected, and she’s seen a softer side to the man, she’s let go of getting to the bottom of it. Should the CBS soap take Claire’s lead and bury this storyline already?

Fans Complaints

The arc has carried on for months without much forward movement. The reveal of what Audra and Holden did surfaced a while ago, and seemed to be dead (pardon the pun) and gone, only to resurface with the opening of Genoa City’s Shadow Room. But should Holden feel bad? He was only protecting Audra, and what happened was a mistake.

There are characters on canvas that have done far worse, and Claire likely won’t judge Holden for the actions he took … even though she can’t Audra!

Still, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) isn’t a fan of Audra’s either, and spoilers seem to hint that Holden’s secret will be exposed, as his mother goes digging into his past in Los Angeles.

She may be irate that Holden placed everything on the line for Audra, but because she kept his bio dad from him for years, will she be able to judge?
