Young & Restless Fan Fave Headed To Days Of Our Lives

Days of Our Lives has been beefing up their cast on the Peacock soap as of late and reports confirm they just added another talented soap actress to their line-up.

Brytni Sarpy is well known for her General Hospital and Young and the Restless roles, now she can add DOOL to her resume!

Y&R Alum Joins Days Cast

The official Peacock page on Instagram made the exciting announcement on Monday August 24.

The streaming App shared a photo of the actress on what appears to be the Days of Our Lives set and posing in front of her dressing room door.

Peacock also shared this vague caption, “Someone new is checking into Salem… Welcome Brytni Sarpy to the Days of our Lives family! Stay tuned.”

Brytni Sarpy made her soap opera debut in 2015 on General Hospital.  The up-and-coming actress was introduced as Valerie Spencer, Lulu Spencer’s cousin.

Sarpy’s character was involved in several major storylines and also a Port Charles cop.  She eventually left in 2019 and switched over to The Young and the Restless, where she played the popular character Elena Dawson.

Who Is Brytni Sarpy Playing

At this point, TPTB at Peacock and Days of Our Lives are keeping their lips sealed about the new casting.  The soap films several months in advance, we might not even see her on DOOL until 2027.

The identity of Brytni’s character is being kept under wraps.  She could be coming in as a recast, or be playing someone who has never been in Salem before.
