Why Critics Think Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Just Hinted At A Divorce

Since Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos tied the knot thirty years ago, they’ve basically been the epitome of these ride-or-die couples we grew up hearing about.

Though their lives have been largely spent in the public eye – Ripa’s a TV show host and Consuelos is a sportsman-turned-host – none of the pressures of the limelight that have divided many a-sweet couples are yet to get to them.

All the Divorce Rumors That Have Plagued Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Marriage

I think most of us can only say we love love like in general. When it starts to succeed too much, especially when we feel that the couple is shoving their happy lives into our faces, some people tend to snap out of it and turn detective for divorce clues.

Many celebrities have gone through these ups and downs, most notably Justin and Hailey Bieber, who I think were unlucky enough to land the short end of the stick.

For this reason, some couples have opted to keep their married life away from the spotlight – Zendaya and Tom Holland are the young couple who are acing it in that department.

Then we have Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who are not afraid to share their lives with their fans, from baby births, to tiny quarrels, relationship drama and so on and so forth. Their soulmate bond must be an incredibly strong one, that they don’t even fear public opinion.

Remember in 2021 when Ripa got a tattoo to celebrate her 25th wedding anniversary, and Faux Moi just happened to announce that a big TV couple was going to be getting a divorce?

Yeah, fans rushed to name Ripa and Consuelos as the doomed TV couple. One fan even went as far as to argue, “Anytime a couple gets a tattoo about their relationship, it’s over in T minus 4 months. True, Tom Cruise [and] Nicole Kidman renewed their vows a few months before they spilt.” Nice prediction…not!

In 2023, Consuelos joined Ripa as a co-host on Live, further proving that even if they spend all day together, they still don’t get bored of each other at home.

This May 2026, Ripa celebrated their milestone 30th anniversary with these words, “360 months. 1,565 weeks. 10,957 days. 15,778,080 minutes and I’ll be loving you always. Cheers to 30 years!”

However, the recent divorce rumors started up as a result of Ripa innocently cracking a joke about getting an “airport divorce.”
