Storage Wars: Darrell Sheets’ Girlfriend Says Star Fought With Son Before Suicide

The Storage Wars community is still mourning the loss of cast member Darrell Sheets.  In April 2026, the A&E star passed away.

Later the local police released a statement confirming that his death had been ruled a suicide.  Now, new details are emerging from Sheets’ girlfriend in recently released police reports.

It’s always hard learning a beloved television star took their own life.  Darrell Sheets debuted on Storage Wars on A&E in 2010 and was one of the original cast members.

Sheets appeared on the show for over a decade and eventually retired in 2023 after appearing on fifteen seasons.

Apparently, Darrell Sheets had a live-in girlfriend at the time of his death and they had only been together for two months.

She wasn’t named, however she did speak to the police after Darrell’s death an shed some light on what was going on with him in the days leading up to his suicide.

What Happened Between Darrell And His Son

Initial reports hinted that the Storage Wars star took his life as a result of cyberbullying.  But, it sounds like there was a lot more going on below the surface.

Per police reports obtained by US Weekly, Darrell’s girlfriend told the cops that he had a huge fight with his son Brandon right before his death.

Storage Wars fans are familiar with Darrel’s son and he appeared on several episodes of the TV show with his father.

According to the tabloid, “Before the reality star’s death, Sheets’ girlfriend claimed that Brandon “recently visited” his dad “for a couple days.”

She alleged the father-son duo “verbally fought over family drama” and that Brandon “reamed” Sheets “a new ass” during the heated exchange.”  Apparently Brandon was not a fan of his father’s new girlfriend.
