Steven McBee Jr. Breaks Silence on Family Fallout After Dad’s Prison Podcast

In December, the McBee patriarch reported to prison after pleading guilty to a multi-million dollar federal fraud scheme.

He will be serving a 2-year sentence at FPC Yankton, and barely a year in, he’s already found a way to piss his family off all the way from his pretty little cell.

If you think you were blindsided by the podcast McBee Sr. did from behind bars, remember his own closest friends and family had no idea what he was up to.

In a move that completely shocked the family, the McBee Dynasty star, 54, made an appearance on the July 16 episode of the Roxanne and Shantel podcast.

A few hours later, McBee Jr. revealed that he learned of his father’s involvement in the podcast on Instagram. “How tf did y’all coordinate this podcast 😂 Gotta be the first Bravo podcast from behind bars,” he quipped.

Noting how he didn’t give anyone in the family a heads up before engaging in something like that, McBee Jr. added that his father is “in deep s— with the fam when he gets out after some of these answers vs what he’s told us.”

The 33-year-old continued, “Kacie, Cole and Mama McBee are NOT happy. I’ve reached a point where I know he doesn’t shoot us straight when it comes to his women, so I stopped caring.”

To understand what McBee Jr. means when he said, “he doesn’t shoot us straight when it comes to his women,” it is good to note that McBee Sr. chose to confirm his relationship status with Masha Petrova in that same surprise podcast episode.

The family originally thought he was no longer involved with Petrova, but the recent podcast episode sure turned it around for them again.

Of course, fans were quick to side with McBee Jr. after it seemed like the senior McBee was throwing his family in for a loop.

“It’s probably for the best. Focus on the farm and your family,” one advised, adding, “Your dad will probably never shoot straight about women. You guys shouldn’t be constantly wrangled into his drama. Love to you and the fam.”

“Yeah, not cool all of you are being put thru his unnecessary drama,” another added.

Another fan chose to marvel at McBee Sr.’s capacity to stir drama, writing, “Not Steve sr causing drama even in prison. Iconic.”
