Sister Wives fans got a trip down memory lane triggered by Janelle Brown and her new boyfriend, Pete Lathrop, after he shared a video on social media. Robyn Brown, who isn’t in the new season, made her way back into chatter because Janelle went full circle on the TLC show.

Ahead of the weekend, Pete Lathrop shared a video on Instagram that showed him and Janelle Brown sitting on the porch in rocking chairs. Pete captioned his post with, “Beautiful fall afternoon. Rockin with my baby. This is forever.”
In the video, the duo talked about how many years they’d be there rocking away on the porch. While Pete talked about five years, Janelle reckoned that wasn’t enough.
Instead, she predicted they’d be rocking away in thirty years. Well, it seems that the Sister Wives star found herself a man open to some negotiation because he raised the prediction to “six years.”
Finally, they both joked about probably being there for 30 years.

Of course, as one commenter quickly noted in the comments, it brought Robyn Brown roaring back into mind. They said, “I want to sit on the porch with my sister wives and our kids and grandkids 😂 sorry lol all I can think of! So happy for you!!!!!!”
If you don’t recall where that came from, it could reference two separate seasons. Monsters and Critics reported that in 2023, during the Season 17 Tell-All episode with Sukanya Krishnan, Robyn said, “I want that house with us on the porch in the rocking chairs with our grandkids and our kids around us – the grandparent ranch.”
The rocking chairs on the porch were mentioned in Season 18 of Sister Wives as well. That came when all the OGs were moving on and Meri Brown was on her way back to Utah. The conversation about the rocking chairs arose as Robyn got all emotional about her dream disappearing.

But there’s a twist. Did you know who first raised the subject of rocking chairs and porches? It was actually Janelle Brown. TV Shows Ace reported that fans accused Robyn of not having any original thoughts. That’s because a TLC fan had recalled Janelle talking about her dream back in Season 14 of Sister Wives.
The outlet wrote, “[Janelle] painted the picture of sitting on a porch with Meri, Christine, and Robyn sitting in rocking chairs with her. She spoke of looking out at Coyote Pass together… it was Janelle who dreamed of this future.”
