Prince William & The Diana Lesson Harry Never Learned

There’s some footage doing the rounds showing a sad occasion for Prince William. In it, the video showed the Prince of Wales at a memorial for a close family friend, standing next to Princess Catherine. What caught the eye of one royal watcher was how well the two of them get on. But,he also noted other things you might not have noticed.

Contrasting Two Brothers

Neil Sean, a very conservative and pro-monarchy expert, noticed on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Thursday, that William seems “very much at ease” when he steps out. The contrast with his younger brother, who the pundit said is “definitely trying to play a role,” was quite a contrast.

During his vlog, Sean then moved onto why Prince William is the way he is. According to Sean, who claimed he’s been “very closely associated with many facets of the British monarchy,” the Prince of Wales learned from watching his mom.

Noting Diana’s Mistakes

Well, in Sean’s opinion, when the kids, William and Harry,  were younger, the future King saw Diana make “a lot of missteps with the media.” Allegedly, he never understood why she would have lunches with newspaper editors.

Well, the young man must have been very astute because Sean claimed that Prince William knew that eventually, “for a story, these people will simply turn on you.”

Next, Neil Sean turned to Prince Harry who, in contrast, must have missed a lot that his older brother caught onto very young. In fact, as far as Sean’s concerned, Prince Harry, regarding his legal battles, would have done well to spot the same trait with Princess Diana.

The royal expert said that Prince William actually gave his brother some advice about the media. Referring to the lawsuit against a number of news outlets, recently, the Daily Mail, allegedly, William told Harry to “cut your losses.

His advice included taking any settlement, giving the money to charity, and simply “move on.” But as ever, the source claims, “Harry felt he knew best.”

Awkward Court Case

Now the problem facing the Duke of Sussex, he suggested, is that his court cases expose an uncomfortable truth. Allegedly, it’s not just about newspapers behaving badly. The royal commentator pointed to the case of Sadie Frost.

Who? Well, she’s the actress, who recently heard that stories about her were being sold by “very close associates,” not by journalists hacking phones.

By now, you probably know that Prince Harry believed that the media hacked in some way. However, friends apparently testified otherwise.

So, Sean suggested that Harry, from his home in Montecito, “cannot fathom” that the leaks about his own life could have come from people he was “knocking around with.”

A Sticky Situation

Actually, it’s quite a sticky conversation. After all, as Sean pointed out, there’s a growing feeling that some of the complainants, including Harry, lack tangible proof because they can’t remember important details.

In fact, it seems quite a far cry from the successful privacy cases brought by William and Catherine over long-lens photos. From the commentator’s perspective, the basisof the argument is that the Prince of Wales understood the game.

Meanwhile, his brother, by refusing to listen, now learns the hard way, that the source of the stories are often much closer to home.

Actually, it wasn’t all slamming Prince Harry and praising Prince William. But, many folks in the comments took it that way. One viewer opined, “The only winners in court cases are the lawyers.”
