Prince William and Harry’s Feud Exploded After Shocking Staff Treatment Claims

Imagine it’s 2018 and the fab four was still a hot thing. Now, somewhere in the roughly 18 months Meghan Markle spent as a working royal, something went terribly wrong as to lead to the massive fallout we inevitably witnessed.

But, before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided that working royal life wasn’t really for them, cracks had already started appearing in their relationship with the Waleses.

Prince William had demanded to separate both their households and charity foundations. And now, we’re learning that Princess Kate had backed him up every step of the way.

When did things start going wrong, or rather, how did things start going wrong?

Princess Kate Didn’t Care About Persuading Prince Harry To Remain As A Working Royal

Well, one of the first signs of internal strife in the usually well-oiled machine that is the British Monarchy was when multiple former Sussex staff started coming forward to accuse Meghan Markle of bullying.

At the time, her team quickly dismissed it as a “smear campaign,” but this treatment of stafff had already caused deep fractures in Harry’s relationship with his elder brother Prince William and Princess Kate, both of whom he once enjoyed a close relationship with.

In his book ‘Spare,’ Harry confessed that it had led William to label Meghan as “difficult” and “abrasive,” as well as caused them to exchange heated words and blows. But William wasn’t the only one getting riled by Meghan’s supposedly poor treatment of staff.

“At first she had thought William and Harry’s squabbles were rooted in immaturity or stubbornness, on both sides, but Harry and Meghan’s attitude toward palace staff, who she and William cared about, set the couples on an entirely different course,” Rob Myers wrote in his biography, ‘William and Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story.’

“As an ‘outsider,’ Catherine had witnessed the deterioration of William and Harry’s relationship. She had seen Harry and Meghan become ever more bitter at having to follow the rules of a hierarchical and hereditary monarchy, until they felt as if they could follow them no longer,” Russell Myers explained.

However, when Harry and Meghan Markle made the decision to pack it up and move house, Kate was reportedly less enthusiastic to talk them into changing their minds than William.

“Sources suggest she had less interest than her husband in trying to persuade Harry to stay in his current role,” Myers wrote, adding, “William was intensely saddened at his brother’s decision to quit.”

Despite this, the Princess of Wales was known to have pushed for peace even as the Sussexes left for America and worked to gain their footing. That is, until they went too far with their money-making schemes, and eventually crossed the line.
