Prince Harry's Latest Olive Branch Is Self-serving, Expert Declares

Prince Harry is reportedly looking forward to putting all the bad water under the bridge for a peaceful and prosperous year ahead, and one of the ways he’s doing this is by making arrangements for his father to grace the 2027 Invictus Games taking place in Birmingham, UK.

However, while many see this as the move that’s likely to end the feud, others are skeptical, believing Harry is merely looking forward to boosting the strength of his brand.

Prince Harry Desperate For King Charles To “Open” Birmingham Invictus Games With Him

Prince Harry is taking big swings in his hopes to reconcile with his family. As preparations for the 2027 games begin in earnest, Harry is apparently asking the organizers to give his father one of the most important roles of the occasion.

“Prince Harry desperately wants Charles at Invictus — and he wants him to open the games alongside him,” the Invictus Games insider said. “Harry wants it to happen both for the games, and for their relationship. It’s his dream to have his father by his side.”

The source continued: “It is appropriate because Invictus is returning to the UK for the first time since 2014, and given Charles is Head of the Armed Forces.

Invictus always invites Heads of State but Harry wants to go further with Charles involved in the opening ceremony. The games represent a cause close to both’s hearts.”

The move has been lauded as one that could formally end the long-time feud between father and son.

Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry Merely Wants To Use His Father To Regain His Lost Popularity In the UK With Invictus Gesture

Sitting on the opposite side of the fence, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams believes he’s seen through Harry’s true motives for presenting such an important role to his father.

“Harry and Meghan are extremely unpopular in Britain with the public,” Fitzwilliams reasoned, “The use of Invictus to reconcile publicly with the King opening the Game is playing a blinder and appears intended to unite, but the Sussexes business failures since they stepped down as senior working royals make this an invaluable opportunity for them to boost their brand.”

He further warned: “The King may well open the Games but Harry’s unifying gesture may, because he and Meghan are not trusted, do more to divide than unite, at least with the public, press and probably with some senior royals as well.”
