Prince Andrew Takes A Massive Downgrade After Royal Lodge

Andrew Mountbatten is reportedly leaving Royal Lodge for a 'humble' new home, what happens with his daughters and his ex, Fergie?

Prince Andrew received his marching orders from King Charles to vacate Royal Lodge. And despite rumors it might not happen, it seems he’s complying and getting ready to leave as renovations started happening at his new residence.

Moving Out Of Windsor

Initially, The Sun reported, Andrew was meant to leave by Easter 2026. However, now, the story goes that he needs to be gone by the time he turns 66 next month.

The plot was to get Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor out of the public eye by sending him to Sandringham. Meanwhile, rumors suggested he could go to the Middle East and live a life of private luxury. Anyway, that seems to have faded as he gets ready to move.

A Massive Downgrade

Kinsey Schofield chatted about the new developments on her Royally Unfiltered podcast on YouTube this Friday. At the time, she hosted guests Duncan Larcombe and Rafe Heydel-Mankoo on her panel. While their discussion covered many topics, they also focused on Prince Andrew and his family.

As for where Andrew goes, Rafe suggested that he might end up at “Marsh Farm,” which is apparently a “simple humble farmhouse.” Talk about a downgrade! After all, he’s been living in a “30 room mansion.” Notably, the panel pointed out that the British public feels “fed up” with Andrew still living in luxury at a cost borne by the taxpayer.

Princess Beatrice & Eugenie

Apart from Prince Andrew, the panel also talked about his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. Kinsey speculated that these two women could potentially always remind the public of her disgraced father and the Epstein case.

However, Rafe argued in their defense, saying that the “sins of the father” shouldn’t hurt the daughters. After all, most royal family watchers know that they have their own identities and they aren’t just viewed as “Prince Andrew’s children.”

Meanwhile, Duncan pointed out that the sisters remained popular and even “carved their own path” away from their father’s “toxic” reputation.

Sarah Ferguson

Of course, the conversation had to include Sarah Ferguson AKA Fergie, who ran into some horrible publicity herself. Apparently, she recently sold her home in London but allegedly looks for somewhere closer to Windsor. So, it seems that she doesn’t want to be anywhere near Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Rafe suggested she might try and “reinvent herself” again, perhaps with a “speaking tour” or a “new children’s book” in America. One thing that everyone knows, is that despite being divorced from Prince Andrew, the fallout of the Epstein scandal damaged her reputation: especially as she was accused of sending Jeffrey a nice email after publicly condemning him.

Viewers React

In the comments section, it seems that Kinsey’s panel might have misread the situation with Andrew and Fergie’s daughters. One viewer opined, “A lot of the contacts Beatrice and Eugenie have made have come from their parents…I think that is a problem.”

Here are a few other responses from the discussion:

  • Andrew Lownie has implied that updates to his Entitled book will detail shady dealings by the York daughters.
  • The york girls’ finances should be investigated – if no criminal or shady activities found, no problem leave them alone. If they are found to have had shady dealings then throw the book at them, remove their titles along with the markles and get rid of the rot for good.
  • Andrew should be thankful for anything he gets! He has ZERO humility, so I doubt any gratitude will be shown by him for receiving a humble cottage in which to live after getting kicked out of Royal Lodge.
