Melania Trump is in the news at the moment because of her documentary, Melania: 20 Days to History, that loads of critics claimed would fail. However, at least one royal and celebrity commentator described himself as “lucky enough” to see it. Read on for more.
Very Impressed By The Don’s Wife
Neil Sean shared about the film on his Daily News Headlines vlog on Thursday. In fact, he previously met the first lady in real life. “When you meet somebody that is that famous now, you are in awe of them,” he said. Clearly impressed by Donald Trump’s wife, he added she’s “statuesque,” and compared his feeling like someone who met Jackie Onassis.
Despite critics who hoped it would fail, Sean felt pleased to report that the success seems surprising. Then, he remarked about it being the “number one box office movie” and dissed those who “said this would flop.”
The Media Missed The Train
Pointing out the negativity by mainstream the media, the commentator noted how she’s under constant attack by them. And, he believes this time, they missed the train because they seemed oblivious to the large amount of public interest.

Things change over the years, and he noted that fewer people go to theaters. The fact that folks do go and watch proves the documentary has real pulling power. One of the main reasons for the popularity might have been “the fact that Melania herself was…instrumental in putting it all together.”
Sudden Change Of Heart?
Sean certainly seemed to enjoy the changing attitudes of the media now that the documentary is a success. In fact, he named Vanity Fair magazine, which is owned by Condé Nast. Some staff reportedly threatened to quit if Melania Trump appeared on their cover.
Allegedly, and we mean allegedly, because no other information on Google and other search engines supports it, now the magazine wants to feature Melania Trump after the documentary’s great performance.
The Demographics
Apart from that, Sean discussed some interesting demographics, and he pointed out that lots of women and many from the gay community went to see the movie. Not done yet, he also raved about Melania’s appeal to classic Hollywood stars and powerful pop figures. In fact, seldom does someone in politics pull off a crossover like she does.
Overall, he opined that the documentary worked because Melania seemed authentic. “Her message is genuinely true and genuinely genuine,” he added. Well, the question arises: will she agree to the alleged Vanity Fair cover? Maybe in their dreams, but allegedly, behind the scenes, they push quite hard for it.
Reactions From Viewers
Sean’s followers seem open to the idea of Melania’s success, and some of them hope she steps away from the media who suddenly want to be her bestie. One of them opined, “I pray Melania says no. They need her more than she needs them. In fact, she doesn’t need them at all.”
Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- How can they let staff make the rules. You get an assignment and do a good job or your fired.
- The movie was enjoyable. It shows what a lovely person she is through and through.
- The main media and major magazine believe they can direct the public to like or dislike something or someone. I don’t watch the main media and I certainly don’t buy magazines.
- When Vanity Fair comes a calling, Melania will not waste her time.
