Prior to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle setting foot in the UK, fans had already started speculating that a visit to Princess Diana’s gravesite – located at a private land surrounded by a lake at her childhood home Althorp House – will be in the itinerary.
Not only that, fans insisted that Harry and Meghan will likely go with Netflix cameras in tow to capture the whole experience, since it’s their children’s first time visiting their late grandmother’s grave.
The reason for this is that the Sussex couple is working on a Diana documentary for Netflix that is set to be released in time to mark the 30th anniversary of her death.

The Sussex family’s summer vacation may have ended, but the memories will live on. In celebration of the times they shared, Meghan posted several pictures from the vacation on her Instagram page.
However, one picture in particular proved to be in poor taste, and fan reaction towards it have been largely negative.
The picture in question captures Harry, Archie and Lilibet. In it, Harry and Archie are notably walking in front with large bouquets, while Lilibet followed behind
“Of ALL the relatives, friends an in-laws Princess Diana has, in 29 years not ONE of them has released photos of them visiting her grave since she died,” a royal commenter shared on X, adding, “APART FROM MEGHAN MARKLE. I asked Googs, then asked ‘apart from Meghan Markle.’ The answer is no. SHE IS VILE.”
“There’s nothing Meghan won’t do for clout or clicks. Using your deceased mother-in-law’s gravesite for Instagram is a level of indecency psychiatrists will study for generations to come,” another blasted, after claiming they had predicted the eventuality weeks ago.
“Harry and the boy both have gigantic bouquets of flowers-wonder what for, at Althorp?” another fan wondered, adding, “So #MeghanMarkle really posted photos of them on the way to #PrincessDiana’s grave. Wow. How disrespectful, exploitative and gross. What should really be a very private and personal family…” another observed.
Many others chimed in, calling it “disgusting,” “vile,” “exceedingly creepy,” and using other such words.
