Law & Order Actress Joins NCIS: New York CastIn April CBS announced that they were adding another spinoff to their NCIS franchise.  NCIS: New York will premiere on Tuesday nights this Fall, and the network is putting together a star-studded cast for the new show.  Keep reading for all the details, here’s what we know about NCIS NY so far.

NCIS Nabs Law & Order Alum

According to reports, Jennifer Beals has joined the cast of the new spinoff as Robyn Wells, Assistant Special Agent in Charge.

The original casting notice teases that Robyn (Beals) “leads with her intuition and is widely respected by her team.”

NCIS fans will recognize Jennifer Beals from the recently canceled series Law & Order: Organized crime.  She played the part of baddie Preston Webb’s wife in Season 2, which aired in 2022.

Beals made her TV debut in The L Word as fan fave Bette Porter, and then reprised the role on Showtime when the series was resurrected and called Generation Q.  Since then she appeared on television shows like The Nightshift, Chicago Code, Proof, and Taken.

NCIS: New York Brings Back Sam And Nick

One of the reasons fans are so excited for the new spinoff, is because NCIS: Los Angeles stars LL Cool J and Scott Caan are also returning.

Cool J and Caan will be reprising their roles as Sam and Nick and relocating to the Big Apple to run a new team.

According to TV Line, “Also joining the “NCIS: New York” cast as series regulars: Jacqueline Byers (“Dark Winds”), as special agent Addy Ross; Shane Harper (“Power Book IV: Force”), as special agent Wyatt Hill; and Devin Druid (“13 Reasons Why”) as tech specialist Sean Sullivan. All three will be members of Sam and Nick’s team.”
